So, After learning a bit about my p/s camera settings, I played around a bit, then forgot to turn them back. So, these are not worthy of the feats of the folks hucking their meat into what was often dust (okay, so perhaps a foot of dust at certain points) on crust. Still, as I doubt I will capture any more stoke this season, here it goes.

Arrived to KW with MashedPotatoes for what looked like a fine day. High snow banks and fresh snow on the trees.

I should have taken out the p/s for a run down 99 steps that offered up some perfectly compacted blower, but hey, it was just a little too good to stop. Instead, I waited for powdork to sweep up the mess left in Main.

On the way home, ShaunB sends one off top of Doom, as Dheli critiques his work.

Round 2. Powdork leads the way.

And the lemmings follow. Dhelihiker ups the steeze and throws in a grab.

Kfactor just goes ballistic off the point.

When it was suggested that we head back toward Pali for some hippy turns, it was readily agreed upon. On the way home, powdork demonstrates how Treman's is only fun when there is glare ice to work up your speed. After the choke, before the straightline.

Twas a good day. Later, MashedPotatoes and I hit up ThunderBowl for some pucker. V Tree was looking deceivingly good. Glad we did not venture over that way, as it was literally dust on crust for the first 100 vertical feet on my entrance. True pucker. MP started a sluff on his 2nd turn that ran the entire length of the bowl. More like a point release than a sluff. Sketch. Wish the camera battery was not dead. It got better lower in the bowl with the lower angle. Hiked up to Martin's and then down Danberg. Probably should have chosen the Spur proper as the April sun definitely had done its work on our slopes. Still, a great way to finish up the KW season.

Might find my way to Alpine next Monday if the gods are willing.

There is a slight chance I can get up to north lake for one more day either next Mon or Tues.

I have a TGR tix to Alpine. Any chance someone has an unused one I may be able to give to a friend? Thx.

I had such a fine day during last Thursday's storm.
Lots of dust on crust in Pali.

don't do it!! the crib thing i mean. i built one for our first. it was awesome, had a canopy, the whole drop down front rail, seriously, a masterpiece. problem is we had to move shortly after she was born, and i never thought about getting it out of the room when building it.

Snowed on and off all day at the Gnarth.
One minute there'd be a black hole sun, the next Mom's Nature would be sneezing some Tony Montoya, and it kept flip-flopping like that throughout the duration.
Condis were fluff on scruff, Kendall's Mint Cake breakable slush, tacky, TBP (Tahoe Boilerplate), and just about everything else in-between.

Squaw was a blizzard today on the upper mountain.

Unfortunately skiing the off piste felt like being on a layer of velvet draped over a rocky river bed. It was almost painful to ski.

But the groomers had about 2" of pow so that was fun for a while.

It needs to be the address on his drivers license as thats the "identification" validation listed on the voucher. I can photoshop his name/address onto the voucher and send you a PDF to print.

I also have a 2 for 1 voucher for Alpine if someone wants it, I think its valid everyday but Saturday.

Me too! It's hard to get anything done with all this snow. Hit me up if your ever lookin for someone to ride with. I think I finally figured out why my pics keep coming out shitty. I'm not able to post any pics on TGR yet for some reason. Keeps saying I don't have permission to post attachments. Any suggestions?
