Sweet stoke from Humans Creative. Willie Schneider, Evan Haines, Drew Fisher and Rob Armenti tear up Alpine Meadows and Homewood. Worth viewing all three parts for sure.

/\/\ I like the jump into Marhanka's around the 2:25 mark in number 3. That's a bigger huck than it appears in the video.

In any case, if you're ever really in this situation make sure you at least bargain in a couple of fluffers.

Those homestyle huckster vibe jib slash pow clips capture it nicely.
So out of curiosity and after all the hoopla we heard about Pacific Crest heli prior to the season anybody know how things worked out for them? There sure isn't much out there showing terrain and what not.
was another good day in the kirkwood environs
a few more pics in the crash test dummies thread, cuz it was that kind of day again.
^^^^^^ 4th of July Chutes????
And that almost looks like powder. How much did ya get up there?
random questions for the bay area and tahoe group:
i) Anyone have any Wailer 105's mounted AT/alpine I could try out for a few runs for beer? 307 BSL and I'm looking for the 178s but would try the 188s to just feel how they ski
ii) Anyone know where to get shells professionally cleaned? Yeah I can throw in the wash and nikwax myself ... but I haven't cleaned my Patagucci shell in like 3 years so I wonder if I might as well drop it off somewhere and get all the grime worked out of it

Schralph- there is a tech gear specialty cleaner in Truckee on West River St. that seems to have a decent rep. They're in the little business complex directly across from where the downtown roundabout dumps out under the tracks, next to Carlsons Electronics.
"if you plant ice, you're gonna harvest wind..."
If you french fry when you pizza you're going to have a bad time.
Another endorsement for TEC.
not counting days 2016-17
Closer to home, Schralph, Narain's, near Gilman, has a super-solid rep for this. And a bit less of a drive. No luck there?
Thanks guys,
Narains is closer but a bit pricier and open less hours
TEC is not close, but LBD is over that way and they are open till 6 on Saturdays, and they will also ship back to me, and less expensive
I'm sure either will be great so whatever ends up easier for me is what I will do.
Now I've just got to find those Wailers ... I got my BD Method boots last week and Hot Diggity I likey me those boots.

It seams like it was feast or famine this year for those guys. Saw lots of people standing around with there gear at the truckee airport after every storm. January had to sting a bit. From what I understand They have pretty good financial backing and knew this was going to take some time to get up and running. One of our pilots who also patrols at Squaw flew with them and said the terrain was good. I fly that area all the time. I think there is more out there than people realize. Most of this was just picked up sitting around at airport ops.
Don't make me come get you....
I was under the impression that they can only pick up and drop off on private land because they don't have a special use permit. The terrain out where they're flying is incredible, but when you're off limits to fed land, it narrows down real quick. Maybe I'm wrong though. However, I'm sure their clients got lots of first descents because all that terrain is way too far out ever to be skied.
i up loaded a new version of the video from the crash test dummies thread. (Now with 70% more crashes)
Squaw Valley USA International of California was really entertaining today. Morning groomers and Oly off-piste laps in the sun were stunning. Palisades wad open, so did two laps. Then headed to that new secret gate at Silvy. Dont ever go there, it's no big deal:;....ok, back to KT for rest of the day. Slushfest and rotten snow fun ensued. Old mans, rock garden, nose, big Balls, and fingers were super smooth with minimal or zero moguls. Good day. Bye bye

Still waiting...
As far as I know they have a 100,000 acre area of ops. Not that much in the big picture, but from what I understand lots of really nice North facing terrain. I'll try and get coordinates and get a better look when I'm working out there. Based on the snow pack its going to be a while until we start hauling bikers and hikers out of there.

Ever give moonlit skiing a try? It's been on my list for a while... tis a nice experience![]()
