Seeing as how productive this last one was, and seeing how many people are interested in the next one, we may as well start planning a September weekend. Hell I'd even be down for Labor day weekend.

    Anyone?

This probably goes w/o saying but we should definitely hit up Magic during the day on Saturday before the evening festivities at Ullrfest in October.

I'd really to make it for the next work weekend, whenever that is. Labor Day weekend could be good. The only weekend I know that won't work is Sep 17th/18th since I've gotta attend a buddy's wedding. But the rest of the month is looking pretty open, I think. Unless I'm forgetting about something, which I very well may be...

I'd love to get out and help but weekend wise I'm slammed until late October/Early Nov. If anyone wants to get up there Tues-Thurs I'm all over it
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

    its me.

thank you all for having the best attitudes and energy of any ski mountain devotees anywhere.
Since there's only room for one of those guys at every hill, I'm trying to figure out when I can come up to hang out with you all. Would there be interest in September to make the date the weekend of the 18th?

I'm blown away by these pictures, and can't wait for snow, snow and more snow.

    Nice work, all.

ok, the 18th looks like it's out for some. I'm out the 4th and the 11th (work) and hoping to do Siptemberfest on the 25th.

If anyone else wants to trim and camp, let me know or I'll keep following here.

We're getting really good at the whole mt top camping thing, so if there's a time that works for you, get in touch and I'm sure we can figure something out. Really stoked for the fall trips too, the days are cooler and the foliage is nothing short of amazing.

SWEET! I have a spot or 2 in mind that could use a little bit of work in case we run out. The past 2 years i've been skiing a spot that would definitely benefit a bit of work. Can't wait!

You might want to keep the weekend of October 16th free.

I even hear Saturday afternoon is when things will start...

Well, I'll see about scheduling in September, nothing definite right now but I'd love to try to maximize the amount of people that can go so I'll do my best. We should all have Octoberfest beers in the fridge by then, so I'd like to have a regional gathering of the brews if possible as well.

I'm already in stone for Big Daddy's house pre-Ullrfest. I will be far better prepared this year for sure.

Ullrfest is October 16th? crrappp. I think I have to move to a new apartment and visit with my girlfriend's dad that weekend. my timing is for shit.

(Hopefully) Count me in for September though and I'll bring some brews from Olde Saratoga Brewery. If no one's been, it's basically the brewery equivalent of Magic. Free tastings all day, every day. Little kids and dogs running around. Bring your own food/wine. And sampling direct from the big brewing vats is not entirely out of the question.

edit: New apartment just got squared away for weekend of 9/24. I kind of would've preferred having two things in one weekend rather than having two weekends booked up, but whatever.

D'oh. I think we have a friend's wedding that weekend. (Let the negotiations begin...)

I'm down to help on a random Sunday. Saturdays are about to become difficult because of fall sports coaching. Oh, and it has to be a weekend I have off from Ultimate.... 9/24 looks like it might be the only one available for me between now and the weekend after Ullrfest....

^ stinkin trucks are handy for getting gear & tools to the top. And yeah, chainsaw, judiciously applied would have been handy.

. Looks like I missed a good one. The wedding I was at in Boston was pretty fun though. Open bars are good. Gin, meet tonic...tonic, gin.

I really need to get up for a hacking session soon.

Any takers yet for the 16th? I'd like someone to point me in the right direction, I don't want to get all Jay Scar on Magic.

Hey Matt, I could be persuaded to do a Sunday up at Magic. I'd love to put some faces with some names of the EC mags. I finally picked up an AT rig so my options this winter are gonna be a whole lot better.

Oh, FWIW, I've got 1 or 2 chainsaws, bow saws, loppers, trimmers, weedwackers, hedge trimmers, gardening shears, and even a cute straw hat with a bow on it for ultimate tree clearing stoke. Don't think I have a machete though. I'm such a pansy.

My availability from this point on will depend heavily on OEC course scheduing- recent events have made me want to be able to fix my friends if they break themselves, so I'm taking the plunge. Looks like it will be pretty much every weekend until mid Dec but it will still allow Sat afternoon->Sunday trips. Just a heads up.

Also, I believe Bluebird is going to post the schedule for the "ohfishul" Magic camping work weekends soon, however that shouldn't stop people from getting in touch with him if they have some spare time they want to kill. I am totally down for that wekend ML & BSB, so just keep in touch and we'll plan accordingly! My tits are drying out, and that's bullshit!
