I wish I could clone myself to be able to do trail work at more than one place at a time. But I'll be up at Hickory doing the same on Saturday, then just hanging at the open house on Sunday. And while it's the last "official" volunteer work day there, I know I'll keep going back up to help them get ready for the first ski day.

Lovin' the pix you posted! I'm hoping to check Magic out a few times this season on a Mon or Fri when Hickory isn't open and bump up my ski day count. I'll hoist a cold one in your direction this weekend...

We all know Magic's awesome management lets us work with them towards new and sweet terrain and this year is to be the biggest and best in terms of volunteer support. With all the momentum Magic gained this year, it HAS to be. We had a great turnout last year but sitting around bitching about the heat and lack of snow isn't helping anyone find a new cliff band for us to huck our meat off of next season, now is it?

There has been big talk this year about the possibilities of the terrain, but we need your help to make it happen! Many new people got to experience the work of the Magic Militia this season and now it's time to put in your dues peeps . I have to go up to investigate the west side pipeline next weekend (15th-16th) and am looking for a crew to camp, hike and clear trail- all Magic lovers are invited and encouraged to attend the festivities. Let me know if you can make it!

Potentially in for this, assuming I can get next weekend open. The idea of scoping out and cutting new tree lines really gets me amped up for 10/11 Magic pow. Also psyched on getting a night or two in the Vermont woods for some camping.
