Things kinda slow at the ol' Ford dealership, eh? Bet those F-150's are flying out the door.
I know what you do, you don't know what I do.

This thread sucks. All people are fucking idiots. No fucking other country would do any better. And most of the shit we have done is a consequence of history, which most people don't know, beyond the last president.
And once again history hangs in the balance.
Regardless of what happens in the next 24 or so hours... Here's to hoping our country is a better place because of it.
Creepy. I started reading this thread thinking it started in the last few days since I haven't checked the board in a long while. I could have sworn that this was written just a few days ago.
All this same crap is still happening. UG. Nothing has changed in 4 years... Oh yeah, except that we're deeper into debt, on the verge of the worst financial crisis this country has seen in almost 100 years, our president's administration used the constitution and our personal rights as toilet paper, and we're deeper intrenched in wars that have questionable motives but have massive financial kickbacks to huge corporations (Monsanto, Haliburton, etc.). So depressing that it's tough to think about.
We will be witnessing some very, very interesting times. I think things will be getting much stranger, and much worse in the not too distant future...

Ok but that could be a picture of Baton Rouge or Elizabeth NJ just as easily.
This country is fucked. Neither canditade is going to be anything better than mediocre at best.
The American people have already let Bush and Friend's fuck America in the ass and ruin the economy for personal gain. Seriously, trillions and trillions of dollars have been stolen from the American people. Librotards think the Democrats are the answer, but they've had plenty of control of the legislative branch and done nothing to check Bush's crimes.
I'm pretty pessimistic, but I don't see this election changing a whole lot. We'll just have left wing corruption and stupidity instead of right wing corruption and stupidity.
The problem is that the American people just don't care enough to stop people from fucking them.

I assume that you are aware that this country did exist and had fucked up politicians long before dubbya came to power. When you buy into the idea that Bush screwed everything up, it just goes to show how limited your understanding of history is. Or maybe you just really like Kool-Aide.
I would agree that neither candidate is great, although in this election (like all that I have voted in before) you are charged with choosing the lesser of two evils. And clearly McCain is the lesser of the 2 evils.
I have resigned myself to the fact that we will live under an Obamanation for the next 4 years, which made me think of this quote...
