    A-ROD'S A YANKEE DOODLE RANDY
HITS A STRIP JOINT WITH TORONTO BABE
    By DAN MANGAN

May 30, 2007 -- Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez stepped up to the plate with a mysterious, busty blonde in Toronto, as these intimate, exclusive photos reveal.

The cozy duo dined with two pals at a pricey steakhouse late Sunday night, then headed to a glitzy strip club before making their way to his hotel, where the pair ducked into an elevator and headed upstairs just after midnight.

Cynthia Rodriguez - A-Rod's wife and mother of their 2 1/2-year-old daughter, Natasha - was nowhere to be seen during the slugger's big night out on the town, which occurred the evening before the last-place Bronx Bombers' pathetic 7-2 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.

And it came as Rodriguez took a room at Toronto's Four Seasons hotel - down the street from the Park Hyatt, where most, if not all of his Yankee teammates and coaches are staying during a three-game stint that ends tonight.

"No comment," Rodriguez said when The Post asked him about his north-of-the-border jaunt with the blonde.

Yankees spokesman Jason Zillo said A-Rod has "never commented on his personal or private life, and he's not going to start now."

Rodriguez went 0-for-3 last night in the Yanks' 3-2 loss to the Blue Jays.

A-Rod started his busy Sunday in The Bronx, where the Yankees dropped a third straight game to the Los Angeles Angels.

The powerhouse third baseman then flew to Toronto, where he checked into the Four Seasons in the city's posh Yorkville section.

After settling in, the 31-year-old A-Rod, the mystery blonde and two men left the Four Seasons in a taxi shortly after 8:30 p.m., and headed to dinner at Harbour Sixty Steakhouse, a ritzy restaurant located about two miles away near the city's harbor and the Rogers Centre, where the Blue Jays play.

Rodriguez, who was wearing his wedding band, was casually dressed in jeans and a white, short-sleeved T-shirt featuring a large fleur-de-lis on its left arm. His tight-bodied, bleach-blonde gal pal was clad in a snug pair of blue jeans, a shiny, light T-shirt and wedge-heeled shoes.

A witness told The Post that Rodriguez and his three companions spent about two hours dining at Harbour Sixty.

Rodriguez and the blonde, and possibly the two other men, then were driven in one of Harbour Sixty's cars two miles to the Brass Rail, a flashy strip club located on Yonge Street.

The witness saw A-Rod and the woman go into the Brass Rail just after 11 p.m.

Home to what one Web site calls, "Toronto's most beautiful all-nude dancers," the Brass Rail is known for its booming sound system, overflowing crowds, overpriced beers and $20 lap dances - a drop in the bucket for Rodriguez, who has a 10-year contract worth $252 million.

Rodriguez and the blonde spent an hour or so at the Brass Rail, the witness said.

When they walked out of there, A-Rod and the woman were alone.

They then got a cab back to the Four Seasons. Their cab pulled up to the hotel minutes after midnight.

A-Rod then strode into the hotel behind her. He rubbed his nose as if to obscure his face to other people as he joined her at the elevator bank.

As the doors to an elevator opened, he and the blonde got in together, the witness said.

The doors then closed, and they disappeared upstairs.

He had to emphasize over 15 games and that they were regular season. I'm not too worried!

And to think that the Yankees were 5/2 to win the AL Pennant at the beginning of the year.

Boston is now 1/12 to win the East. Now that's funny.

    On a related note

being a Yankees/BoSox dominated thread; if I have to watch one more effing Yankees game on ESPN this season I may have to put my foot through the television.

How long do we have to endure watching a team that is tied for 5th place in their division, 14.5 games out of 1st, 8 games under .500??!?!?!

I know it's a great story and all watching a $200M payroll fail, but how long do we have to beat this dead horse?

You dont see those fuckers devoting 15 minutes of sportscenter talking about the Royals or the Reds do you?

Here's an idea: hey dipshits in the programming booth, you've got the two best teams in the AL playing this week and you give them one game on the "douche"? How about airing a Tigers - Indians game or maybe a Angels game? Shit, how about airing a game that actually has 2 teams above .500?
Screw you. Oh and Patrick; you and your slick fag friend Olberman's schtick is old. Give it up.

    rant over.

Just a guess.....there are more Yankees fans than Indians fans. So, more people viewing ESPN with Yankees on, and more $ being made on commercials.

But If I were a Yankees fan, Id hate to have to watch them too.

And as long as Orsillo and Remy and Tina Cervasio's velociraptor teeth are doing Sox games, Cleveland and Detroit and any other place can take the ESPN games.

Nope- I definitely said over. Hell, Beckett won 15 with them last year with a 5+ ERA. Its not hard with that offense.

without a doubt there are more ad dollars with the Yanks on tv, I'm not completely off my rocker. As entertaining as it is to watch a train wreck in slow motion, the novelty of a sub-par all star team in the Bronx has worn off weeks ago.

My prediction: We will see Clemens' first 3 starts on national tv, and for the record I hope he gets shelled. I can see it now, mid-august, Yanks 14 games under .500, in 4th place, and (insert douche here) on sportscenter will be presenting a 5 minute piece on how the Yanks got to where they are, while telling you to tune in to Baseball Tonight's even further in-depth coverage of the wreckage later that night...

All this talk about the Yankees faltering makes me really uneasy. I feel like some of you sox fans started rooting for the team in 2004 and don't know how easily a team's standing can change. If the sox can finish last season 15 games out, they can certainly blow a 15 game lead this year. The yankees hitting is going to come back and they're going to start winning. Hopefully the sox will keep winning the way they are, but if the wheels come off, look for the playoff hunt to get interesting... too interesting.

I enjoy watching Yankee games because it gives me a great chance to witness how much of a Hall of Famer manager Joe Torre really is.

And when I can't catch the game, listening to WFAN at night is a true pleasure. That's when all the whiny Yankee fans start calling in and wanting to trade Jason Giambi for Oakland's entire pitching staff.

I am hoping the Yankees keep faltering. I know it can change quickly and thats what is so great about the game. And the Yankees have potential to be a killer force if they get their heads in the game. However, right now, they aren't playing good. I think most people are talking about the current state of the team then the rest of the season. Anyone to discredit their potential is a moron.

Well I for one have been a sox fan since I started watching the game (1979ish). I was born in Massachusetts and lived there the majority of my life. I have seen over the years tons of teams be down a lot of games to come back and I have seen the reverse also happen.

Some people sure are bandwagon/fairweather fans, but I for one am not.

I'm definitely worried about the yankees still. This weekends' series can be either a catalyst for them, or a death blow. So it'll still be interesting.

But even the Yankees think this thing is out of reach, if they did think they had the ability to make a run at it, they would be pitching Clemens on Sunday night. Instead, they are hedging their bets and pitching him against Chicago, a team they need to catch for the Wildcard.

Plus, I'm not as worried about injuries (barring anything too catastrophic), we have plenty of depth, both on the bench and in the minors. And being this far ahead in so early in the season allows you to rest players more thoroughly.

Actually, Clemens is starting on Monday because Wang, Mussina, and Pettitte are scheduled to start this weekend and Torre didn't want to move around the rotation.

That's bullshit and you know it.

Clemens is in 5 day routine, putting him in Boston on Sunday night.

The yankees juggled their rotation a bit with the off day in order to get their pitching lined up for this series. If they hadn't, one of their no name pitchers would have pitched Sunday night.

The Red Sox may be doing well, but their owner? Not so much.

Assets from $3.3 billion to less than $500 million in 2 years.

Red Sox will be up on the block shortly.

Funny Mass, but not one pitcher in the bigs is necessarily on a FIVE DAY rotation. They're on a 5 GAME rotation... which means they could have 4 days of rest, most likely 5 days with a day off every week or two. Clemens fit into their existing rotation... why mess up an entire rotation when you can push one guy (who's only started three games since last September) back a day? Your reasoning doesn't make sense, it just sounds like another chance to take a shot at the anti-christ.

Oh, I'm sure the carnivores are chomping at it big time. Just imagine the reception he'll get with the 15 game lead on their side. Let's be realistic and not start him this one time.
