    Thumbs up

Still so impressed with the durability of these skis. I've been using mine as a dedicated bc ski now with dynafits and they show less wear after a season of use than my other skis that have been abused less. I patrolled on them quite a bit and I had a few remarks like, 'they look heavy for a touring rig', to which my response was to tell them to go pick them up. Instant believers.

Saw some of the new fatties and the build looks like its getting tighter with every pair. To those waiting on some, you won't be disappointed!

as much as I would love to, I'm not sure that at 5'7" and 126 pounds I could really handle the 179s. In fact, I'm pretty sure they'd own me.
checkout couloirman's 179 xtrasofts in gearswap

for sure you could handle those so long as you're not skiing super tight trees and bumps 100% of the time.

I've now used my 179 stiffs for one slushy, corny, pre-corny/hardpack day on the EC and, uh, yeah.... they're worth the wait. What a great fucking ski.

Explain to me why are they closing early with all this new snow, and why haven't they opened Drainage yet-not that I didn't duck in three weeks ago, before all this good snow, and received nary a scuff on my bases for my effort.

Just curious, not like I have the tome or money to head out anymore this season, just doesn't make sense to close up shop with a ton of snow falling.

I came home Friday to the big fat brown box. Second pair of 179 fatties, a replacement for some of the very first ones. All I can say is HOLY FUCK, they are way burlier than the other ones. I am not sure I am man enough for these...I might need to lock my heels down.

No idea why they are shutting it down, drainage and main drain were awesome today. Quote from RL site-
"So get up here and enjoy the end of the year powder because the season is almost over. Remember the closing date has been moved up a weekend and our last day is going to be Easter Sunday instead of April 15th."
I see no reason to turn the lifts off, the snow is as good as its been in 2-3 years, we were there until noon when we had to go back to school and there was 6 inches on the truck when we left. I've heard its the numbers, but that didnt make alot of sense either. I just know its been a sick weekend. This probably explains nothing, but i gave it a shot.

hmmmmm, wonder who that was ........what he said, click in, find sweet spot and CHARGE! the fattie skis are unreal, can't wait for my "skinny" burly bastards to show up now too, and like i told pat, the fuckers look like they're moving when they're standing still - they intimidate the rest of the quiver.

    Bro Blems blowout

I don't even know what I bought, they were stiff blems from a while back I just picked whatever seemed like the biggest stiffest of your offerings from your thread at the time. I just tried to go back and find the thread, but the descriptions are gone. No worries. I mounted them up and in fine fashion just split whatever I pointed them at in half. Wether it was jump turns down the old Poma line, the zipperline through bumps, finding spaces between trees or letting them run in the wide open......Fucking amazing planks. It wasn't even a leap of faith on my part, I just knew they would be winners.... There's no question what I'll be riding for a long time.

Wandering a search should reveal at least 1 pair of 168 bros have been made.
    Dear Mr. Splat,
    Hook em young
I told these whippersnappers level 5 for poles.
415 levels later and you get to ski the goods.

Thanks for the hat and 420 broject package.
    What were they mounted w/?
If you get a chance this grom needs a spancer and some mini bros

Bob MC refuses to let me tune his bros can you talk some sense into him?
Have I mentioned the 192 broheamoth FKNA kick ass?

    Thanks again,
a fellow icorrigible stoner ski bum.

Joey on some mini-bros would be cool. His Public Enemies are like 168 or 169 or something, so if you already made a pair of 168s...

Here's to Mr. Bus driver .... Bus driver... Bus driver....

Been rocking the bros in some serious Spring conditions here in LCC the last few days, as well as in Solly on Sunday. That day both Brocktoon and I were on the 188 stiffs and neither one of us could stop smiling.

Yesterday was water skiing day at the bottom of the bird - nary a problem for these planks. This is after plowing through some wind-filled chunder in the Bookends a few hours earlier.

I love my skis. Thanks again, Pat.

My 179 FATTIES are sitting in the living room so I can stare at them all night. Can't wait to take them out for a spin. Gonna put some Dynafit on them for full on, all the time touring sickness, hopefully even for spring peak bagging season. Feel bomber and SPLAT, I love that HUGE tip I'll return with pics and a review when I have enough days on them. Very excited!!!

    Thanks Kenai Your the best

Ice/Dibs - If Idris is reading this, maybe he can shoot me a cad file on the 169s he made this year and I can knock out a few pair. He took 10mm out of the middle of the 179s and made a pair and they ruled.

As for the rest of you piping up in here -

well, the kid's only getting two more days this year (closing weekend at Solly), so there's obviously no hurry, but it would be a cool thing for next year for sure.

If you could get them down to 130-150, my kids would be stoked. And the marketing opportunities based on my soon-to-be-seven-year-old twins alone! "Bros on Bros!" "Twins on twins!"
