Maybe. Still haven't decided. The construction on the Praxis looks a lot more solid than on the Spatulas; that's mainly what's got me interested.
I will be taking mine to the Straightline camp. You are more than welcome to fondle or use if you want.

having figured out a reasonably effective tour mode for my BD O2 telebindings, i'm now putting together some skins for the Praxis boards. since tip/tail won't be making contact on the uphill skin, i'm designing a metal ramp front section (similar to what's used with so-called kicker skins) and skins that are about 100 cm long. i have a bunch of climbing skins i've accumulated over the years---a pair of 70 mm ascension skins, slightly trimmed to fit, will cover these bases nicely. i'm all about the recycling.

    Thanks. I fondled BSS's a-plenty...

Still not sure on what skis to bring to Gordy's camp. Guess it depends on what snow conditions develop in the next week. If it's sparse, bringing a narrower ski plus one larger traditional-sidecut ski. If it's deep, bringing a larger traditional-sidecut ski plus something fun for the deep -- maybe Spatulas.

^^That looks like a lot more camber than my camo ones. Also in the third picture you have the tails up, right?^^

nope, tails are down just didn't have the waists aligned correclty for the picture so it looks like there is way more camber than there actually is.

Ahhhhhh dude, did you miss funken's "rolled eyes" and "winky" at the end of his statment. Those are important clues.

    Did you read the thread?

What's better? Funken's passive-aggressive hate or johnny's over the top, "I'm radder than you" Stacy Hatch steeze?

If it makes anybody feel better, I did a side by side comparison with Spats and Pontoons the other day (my roommate owns both), and decided the Spats were still better. Unless K2 starts offering the Pontoon that their sponsored riders get. Ben Dolnec's are LP stiff. Fucker.

    edit: I'M NOT YELLING!

BB, why are you yelling at me? I just pointed out that funken was kidding. I could give two shits what funken or johnnyskied thinks.

I met Kevin (Keith's cousin) at the Alpine shop earlier this week, when they were grinding a pair of the new lake tree graphics. Good guy. And freaking sick skis. If only I had an extra $550 hanging around....

Only one problem: you assume a willing buyer is available.

Hmmm. My wife and I are trying to have a baby, but if we can we can get an already manufactured unit, rather then make our own, it might be easier in the long run. I'll trade you my praxis's for one of your kids.

I guess that's one of the reasons why there are so many barfights....alcohol can get you fired up!!!!

I sent Keith an email on the skis; he's only making the lake/tree graphic now, not camo or black.

Anyone (Jason?) know if the new lake/tree graphic lacks the tip/tail rivets from the black or camo topsheets? Sent Keith an email asking this a few minutes ago too.
