finally, snow on the way to Tahoe!

Ullr has answered my prayers (and maybe apprecriated my virgin sacrafices...) and it looks like this high pressure is outta here, the storm door is creaking open again, and we are set for a week of storms to roll through. my models show this one coming this weekend could be sweet if all things go according to plan.

...A WINTER STORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR TONIGHT THROUGH
    TUESDAY...

LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON. THE SNOW WILL BECOME
HEAVIER AND STEADIER LATER TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY...BEFORE TAPERING OFF
BY TUESDAY EVENING. SNOW LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN LOW...NEAR
3000 TO 3500 FEET FOR MOST OF THE STORM.

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR 6 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW ABOVE 3000 FEET
    LATER TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY.

ADDITIONAL WINTER STORM SYSTEMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS NORTHERN
CALIFORNIA ON WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY....THEN AGAIN ON FRIDAY INTO
SATURDAY. NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME FOR THESE
STORMS BUT THEY WILL NEED TO BE MONITORED.

Why does this always have to happen when I need to drive through it? You guys should be paying for my solo road trips.....

I go to the SLC summit two years ago and surf the weather front the whole way across NV.

Last year, I road trip mid late feb to Mammoth and end the snow drought.

This year I'm about to drive to WY and will be riding the weather system the whole way.

Edit to avoid some higher entity with a sick sense of humor striking me dead by way of the Kirkwood collective's cumulative wrath.

But I like driving 15 hours in a storm..........

I was brilliant enough to fail to charge my camera battery before heading out so we'll have to rely on Telepath coughing up the pics.

I'll give you 20 bucks if you bring the storm all the way east
