    Question Jog Strollers?

Suggestions? What do you have? What do you like about it? What do you hate about it?

All I know is we want a fixed front wheel and a single seat. Price will come into play, but I want to get a feel for the product offerings before deciding on a limit. My other priority is that rattles are non existent, i.e. I want the thing to feel solid in hand, in motion. This will only be used for jogging and off-road strolling, we already have a mall stroller.

InStep seems to get good reviews and is reasonably priced, but I keep gravitating to BOB because of their origin in the bike industry...

I almost went to work for BOB. After doing some due diligence on each co., I would go with BOB if I had kids. I've been rolling one of their bike trailers recently and it's pretty cool.

We've got one of these in our stroller quiver - http://babyjogger.com/performancemain.htm. Specifically, the performance single with 20" wheels. This one is only used for jogging and walks around the neighborhood. It can be disassembled/folded up, but we seldom use it like that.

Edit: Found our;s on Craigslist for $125 in excellent condition. If you have an infant, be wary of the older models because they only have a 3-point harness. The newer ones have a 5-point and support the kid alot better.

Likes - Effortless to push while running, very easy to maintain with a few bike tools, light, simple, sturdy, accomodates up to 75 lbs., so the kid can use it for quite some time.

Dislikes - Bulky when folded (i.e. not easy to fit into a sedan), sun protection for the little one could be better, if you're running into the wind this thing acts like a sailboat. I'm not sure any other models are better.

    Good luck

I will most likely be holding out for a Craigslist or Play It Again score. That Baby Jogger looks nice, I like the idea of the 1 piece frame and 20" wheels.

Looking at a few now it seems that "adjustable tracking" is only offered on the pricier models. Is it really that big of an issue if the tracking is off a bit and is not adjustable?

Other than your experience with your trailer, any specific reason why you would go with one? Cool company? Excellent product?

I don't really feel like paying for a company ethos, I just want a good product.
