Clinton is a very good actor, but you can always tell when he is lying...when he is being deceptive.

It starts with a change in his voice...you know...that serious "don't fuck with me" voice.

A shift in body position.

And then, out comes the finger routine....and the stone-cold eyes.

You know, he starts pointing and wagging his finger....beating on things...acting all serious and "down to business". That's the non-verbal part of the communication...the finger...he can't help it...it's an involuntary reaction to the lying.

AstroPax's post is classic. It summarizes the mindset of too many Americans.

Every verifiable fact has shown that Clinton was correct and did what he said he did -- bomb the terrorists in Syria and Afghanistan despite Republican opposition and second-guessing. But AstroPax doesn't care about facts...because he's got a 'gut feeling', he 'knows'. Facts are hard, and sometimes force you to change your mind! It's much easier to just go with your gut.

Ever imagine that Clinton might have been mad because the interviewer *ambushed him with leading questions that implied he did the opposite of what he actually did*? "Why do you beat your children?"

Ever see Bush get stuck with a hard question? He looks like a deer in headlights and can't even form sentences. That's why the White House kicks anyone out of the press corps who asks meaningful questions, and replaces them with anyone, even GAY PIMPS (JD Guckert, "Talon News Service"), so long as they're willing to lob softballs at W.

Oddly, something remotely similar did happen, almost exactly 1 month before the WTC bombing. On January 25, 1993, Mir Aimal Kansi, got out of a car and shot five people with an AK-47 right outside the entrance to the CIA building.

He was later turned over to American officials by Afghans cooperating with the FBI and CIA. Very little mention of this terrorist attack, which occured so close to the first WTC attack. He was executed a few years ago.
