I still call it The Jake.
So Sanders did more than what was expected. QB controversy time! *places large liquor order for the season*
I still call it The Jake.
^^ Was it though? If he had been picked in the first round as had been expected would the narrative have been "just a decent showing"? Instead of "pretty good for a fifth rounder"? Anyone who watched him in college knows he's got game. He just really needs to never ever run backwards and take a sack. He did that way too much at CU and again last night.
I think they need to stick with Joe Flacco as #1, Shadeur as #2, and hope to God for the best week 1. I'll be queuing that stream up first week with a bucket of popcorn.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
Did Myles Garrett go to UGA? https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...ph-60-mph-zone
UGA Dawg and CLE Dawg, not that dissimilar in off field hobbies.
Certainly not a good look after rolling his 911 Turbo S just a couple years ago. For context, where he got popped, it was on an empty highway at 1:30am and that particular slice of highway is 6 lanes wide and the State Troopers intentionally keep the speed limit at 60 for revenue enhancement (as they do all over Ohio - the state you are most likely to get a speeding ticket), any reasonable state would have a 70 or 75 limit there.
I can see how easy it would be to cruise along at 100 in a Ferrari, much less a bone stock A4 there. That said, take it to the track Myles, 8 tickets in 7 years is a lot.

Both of these happened today:
Jenkins, the Browns second pick and 36th overall, who was the only unsigned second round pick because he was arrested on domestic abuse charges, had all the charges against him dropped. I assume he's heading to camp immediately.
Isiah Bond, Texas WR who was projected to be a round 2 pick but did not get drafted due to sexual assault charges, announced that all the charges are dropped and that he's signed with (Ill give you one guess...) The Browns. I assume he's heading to camp immediately.
Cleveland marches on, I suppose. This isn't a real team, it's an episode of Ballers.
Fuck, I forgot all about Ballers. In other Browns news, of the 4 man QB competition, well technically 5 man with the addition of Snoop Huntley, only 40 year old Joe Flacco and unsigned training camp addition Huntley are healthy and able to play. I’ve got a good feeling about this season.

I know it's preseason and he was only playing against UDFA's.. Shedeur Sanders final statline vs. Rams - 3/6, 14 yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs, 5 sacks, and 1 fumble
Hes highly mobile in the negative direction.
Gabriel looks really good. The Browns may have nailed this draft, actually, which is disconcerting.
1st: Graham DT. All reports is that hes a force inside. potential home run.
2nd: Schwesinger LB. Camp superstar. potential home run
2nd: Judkins. RB Not in camp due to dropped domestic assualt charges. Unknown
3rd: Fannin. TE. Excellent in camp so far and a projected starter. potential home run
3rd: Bond. WR. Not actually drafted but signed after assault charges dropped. Sense a theme? Unknown
3rd: Gabriel. QB. Been really accurate so far. Id trust him as the backup. double or triple, good pick
4th: Sampson, RB. Unspectacular. maybe a single
5th: Sanders. QB. Shown flashes but is not yet ready. sortve unknown. Maybe a single.
Shocking. Not a single wasted pick yet and two more with big upside - not as people maybe, but as football players. Thats quite a draft haul.
So waht unexpected thing is going to destroy the promising draft class? Anyone seen the rookies heading out onto Lake Erie in a boat?
jesus that's dark
