I hate flying.
Inbound flight cluster fuck at the gate with bitch letting D group board before A group even finished. Lots of pissed people arguing. Ugh. Bitch also arguing with people who have tiny fanny packs or whatever, that it’s a 3rd piece and not allowed. (But letting the guitar guy go with his 2 plus the guitar.)
Outbound flight almost seemed normal-like. Board by group, people dealing, cool.
Pilot: “We’re gonna sit here at the gate for 20 minutes because the blue angels are in the airspace.”
(In 4 hours apparently.)
Hate everything about flying.
Well maybe not all…there was a maybe 2 year old on line that acted nice and talked to me.
The airshow actually starts before noon. I was at Lincoln Park in West Seattle today and noticed much more air traffic. All the planes must be routed west to avoid Lake Washington.Originally Posted by plugboots

Plugboot, harden the fuck up ya buttercup.
I’m just generally annoyed, so I thought I’d share.
AD, well that was the funny part. I knew this was going on, and the plane wasn’t gonna land for 4 1/2 hours, so it was just funny to be sitting there and hear the announcement.
Not annoying, is that we took off 40 minutes late but we landed 10 minutes early. He made up some serious time, so the whole thing was a giant WTF.
So Costco changed vendors at its food courts from Pepsi to Coke. Not a coke fan so that is kind of annoying. But we'll at least get Dr Pepper and root beer, right? Wrong. Annoying.
Wow that’s a huge Corp deal. Not a fan of either but losing that account has gotta sting
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
This pending waste of money and resources fucking annoys me.

"It is unclear why the Trump administration seeks to end the missions. The equipment in space is state of the art and is expected to function for many more years, according to scientists who worked on the missions."
I guess it's unclear if you marry yourself to Hanlon's Razor at the expense of Occam. Malevolence seems pretty simple.

My investor owned power company is going to start charging a $25 per bill fee(on top of all the other random fees). Evidently the CA public utility commission doesn't think $891 million in profit per year is enough for SDGE and people who conserve or generate power should further subsidize large consumers. This is on top of paying the highest per kwh rate in the country of .45.
Fun fact, they are sort of legally required to ask.
Coke needs to protect their trademark and be seen as resisting attempts to turn "Coke" into a generic term for a cola flavored soda. So they occasionally pay people to order a "Coke" somewhere that sells Pepsi and check if they get confirmation. They also gotta protect the brand--if people are ordering Coke, coke wants to be the one who gets the money.
You may not care if the restaurant substitutes pepsi...but what if they swap in Shasta instead? Ultimately if you order a specific product, that's what they should be selling you.
FWIW, I couldn't tell the difference if you brought me a Pepsi by itself...if you give them to me side by side, Pepsi is the one with a sweeter initial hit, coke is a little more vanilla/spiced, but that's only noticeable if you can compare between the two.
Not entirely unique to the US though. Look at how some Euros treat Fanta which can be a different mix depending on which country you are in. There are people who will drink Italian Fanta but not UK fanta, etc.
Back in the day I asked the Antiguan beach vendor yelling coke/ pepsi which was better coke or Pepsi and he never answered I don't think it mattered as long as you bought some I never drink either but I sometimes have Sanpelligino in the fridge
