A Dose of a Hallucinogen From a ‘Magic Mushroom,’ and Then Lasting Peace

Interesting article in the Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/01/he...epression.html
"fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ
"She was tossing her bean salad with the vigor of a Drunken Pop princess so I walked out of the corner and said.... "need a hand?"" - Odin
"everybody's got their hooks into you, fuck em....forge on motherfuckers, drag all those bitches across the goal line with you." - (not so) ill-advised strategy

I have always felt renewed after the occasional trip on mushrooms or acid. Always have a content feeling for a while afterwards, sometimes weeks.

Hell Yeah, nothing beats the sound of running water fishing dries late afternoon. Follow that up with a campfire dancing and some tasty beverages.

LCD soundsystem at red rocks was one of my favorites though.

I have a couple of friends who insist they are effectively treating their depression and anxiety by taking small, daily doses of psilocybin. They've been at it for a couple years now and it seems to be working well for them.

I usually feel a little burned out the day after I take mushrooms, but I can definitely relate to the lingering feeling of peace and calm that follows a trip.

Available on line, I take 150mg every other day since december

IME one does NOT get high but it helps with the anxiety of having nothing to worry about

so hopefully I'm less of an asshole on TGR

or more likely I just feel better about being an asshole on TGR

In 74 I had a job at the canada public archives where they stored paper files, part of my gig was to shred records ( and smoke a lot of dope) that were past their retention date. I got 3 boxes from the Food n Drug agency to be destroyed, I read it all cuz it was fascinating shit correspondence between researchers in California and Vancover, hand written clinical notes by psychiatrists who turned on and took the notes, the box LSD 25 came in was the patent medicine box with purple writing from Sandoz, this stuff should have all been kept but regrettably I read it all and ran it thru the shredder

It is, even when you spend 15 min trying to decide if that’s a trout or a piece of wood in the water.

Junior received a "magic mushroom-infused" chocolate bar for her b-day, recently. Low potency.

    I tried a piece.

At about 20 or so minutes, I felt as if I was looking at the event horizon, but not actually entering it.

k00l little experience, and just a little out-of-it the next morning.

The chocolate they used was tasty, too.

IME I don't really feel any high from a 150mg cap of psylocibin every other day, a local carpenter/ sled head/ weekend mushroom enthusiast figures I would need to take 5 caps to feel anything at all

But I havent touched any MJ since december and I seem to be drinking a little less,

I recall reading an article about a mushroom co-op in Denver that sells "advice/support" for $30 with a free 1/8th. Might have get some advice before my next river trip.

If you live in CO you cam grow your own. Easy to buy supplies online. I’ve been doing it for a few years. Fun hobby, I just give em to friends and personal use. Riding my dirtbike around in the desert on a few grams is about the funnest thing in the world.
