I figured CLBR/PEW was a sure thing: 2A plus first family grift, what could be more promising? Down about 10% since they listed this morning, irritated but also amused. Need an angry tweet from AOC about monetizing the presidency to get the magaverse to buy this thing up.

I think I see the problem: "having Donald Trump Jr. on its board"

See, in the current environment, I thought that was a huge plus. (Thinking from a meme stock perspective rather than a well-functioning business perspective)

^^^I think we are long past logic and data driven. I think it will take a major shock or event.

I think firing the BLS Commissioner should fix the data and all will be well again. &nbsp;</p>

But in all seriousness I think the stock market might be getting pummeled from enough directions now for investors to actually face reality.

My son-in-law is a senior VP with one of the big firms and the most perma bull I have ever met. His mantra is by the dip and he always goes see I told you so.
I hate to say it, but I am rooting for the mother of all crashes where he and other assholes like him loose it all or at least get seriously worked.

So, all the perma bear assholes finally have their day?

More like a little humility. These assholes have never seen a bear market that the FED didn't rescue them from. The smug attitude needs a lot of pain for a few years. I think BK Trump is the guy to lay it on them.

...Most of the $ from the PPP went to financially well off or very well off people..Trump will do the same thing again when he crashes the economy.. transfering tax dollars to the wealthy is a republican specialty.

Yup, I kind of remember many bail outs going where really not needed. Save the donors and in Dumps World, his enablers.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

I guess the question is how long can AI spending and home health care assistance keep the economy afloat?

I have one that has been super strong, up 200% in the recent past. With all the volatility I keep thinking I should get out, or at least preserve some of the "winnings" but it has a solid reason (IMO) to be where it is.

    S&P to $7k, lets go!

Im trying not to buy individual stocks, but also hard buying VOO at the peak. Thinking LLY is a good buy, they got hit hard the other day because the weight loss pill wasnt as good as expected. But sounds like doctors are going to prescribe it for everything under the sun that FDA approves not just weight loss, so thinking they recover the 18% drop.

My schwab precious metals theme has been a good short term buy, would be nice if the account summary page broke out the theme into its own category to track total gain from my other individual stocks.

A couple of finance industry prognosticators are predicting 7500 sometime in 2026... If Trump is allowed to order the index to reach a number that is not fake then the sky is not the limit.
