Massive pressure ridges and troughs wracking the nation with weather anomolies!

And we're right in the bullseye of the precipitation!

The mighty Red Chair at Bachelor opens this Friday as well. Wish I could hit it but some EVP scheduled a meeting at 9am on Friday....

Dammit. Forecast this AM said rain would turn to all snow by 0700 Friday. Now they say not until 1000. May end up waiting until the weekend and ski with 5000 of my closest friends

Started getting very firm by 4 pm at MHM. Bring your groomer zoomers tomorrow.

Stuck it out 'til noon. Cone lap was the perfect way to end the day. Surprised to find an untracked line most of the way right down the middle. Got deeper towards the bottom.

It was about 10 minutes in the singles line. Similar for Red.

And more like 20 if you had buddies with you.
I will stipulate that as a weekday skier I’m spoiled.

I had to spend 10 min at top of Sky waiting for crew. Every third chair had at least one person fall on the off-ramp exit. All but one was a boarder.

The grooming was fine. Off piste was almost unskiable Saturday. There was a few brown spots appearing at the bottom of HRM by noon.
    Web site says Vista today!
Meadows has an awesome crew this season, they've been on top if it.
The line at MHX was bad before 10:30, but Vista should help with that

Has anyone been up the heather runout yet? Curious about snow bridge status.

You can get there, there’s a skinner on the other side of the creek. Looks like people have been straddling the tree and shuffling across. I’m waiting a bit longer, I’ve done that early season bushwhack enough. But props if you’re hungry and you go for it!

Did Vista ever load? It looks like it was spinning most of the day

Yes! It's like the olden days, when the ski season was going by T-Day every year
