Mt Bachelor was funnerer than yesterday, for the most part.

The exception - took me from 11:15 until 12:45 today to get from base of Red to the sky lot. Three runs, probably 20 total minutes going downhill.

Will be sooooo much nicer in eight days and the mountain is pretty much open and we can ski midweek.

The Ambassador I talked to didn’t know when Summit was going to open…

About 70cm at lake level at Todd on Saturday. Anything in the trees was dripped/bombed horror. Open areas were ok. If another foot-ish falls on that it will be decent by mid-week!

Yeah, we’ve discussed the fine line between optimism and delusion…

On that note, I see that only PMX and SRX chairs get added to the schedule this coming weekend. Not surprised that NWX not spinning, but no CCX or OBX?

    WTF?

Yes! It's like the olden days, when the ski season was going by T-Day every year

    Not too bad for pre-Thanksgiving.

Too bad a sled had to poach inside the watershed though.

^^^Thats new since this AM. They must have seen me complaining on he FB conditions page and decided they better take action

12/5 isn’t bad. That’s a Thursday so us unemployed degenerates get first crack.

And I still doubt NWX will have butts on chairs before January.

Hopefully we are getting the inevitable high pressure/inversion pain out of the way early and the jet starts hammering us a bit before my arrival. That's "my: plan anyway...

Yeah, I don’t see that on the MtB website or the Facebook conditions page. And the base is declining

You keep making shit up and Ullr’s gonna rain on your ass all Xmas break. Ms Puma will not be pleased.

Congrats, you were ahead of the curve on that announcement.
Although your scoop last night did not specify a specific opening day, nor did it include the weasel-words “if conditions permit”.

Let’s see if “conditions permit” its spinning next week.

Snow was nice on both CCX & OBX today. Just need moar. Shit is poking thru. Base of NWX is likely a WROD
