Like sharks in Wall Street. Kitties always be closing when it comes to their human pets.

Neighbour cat is playing us hard to adopt him. He’s got access to indoor space and passable food with his current family, but he’s gotten the odd raw red meat and fish scraps that our kitty turned her nose up when it was rejected on the back porch. And we give better affection rubs I think. If he wasn’t long-haired we might take him on, but wife says no way with our dark furniture.
He gets along with our kitty fine enough, but for some reason I get the impression she flaunts her privileges a bit. Spoiled brat she is.

This thing is the bomb for getting up pet hair! I have area rugs in my kitchen/dining area that are low pile synthetic. They grab onto pet hair like a magnet that even my Kirby can't get up. I do have to get on my hands and knees to use this but it's quick and the amount of hair it gets up is insane. I've also used it on pet beds and fleece throws. Great for carpeted stairs too. I started with this small hand held one because some of the reviews of the long handled one where less than positive but I might try another model now that I know how good this one works.

I bought both items from Amazon.
This and a good brush and that cat might even adopt you two.

Long hair shedding is actually more manageable. I've got 2 long hairs and 1 short and by far the short leaves a bigger mess. The long hairs shed in clumps.

In addition to the Uproot, Fur Daddy is great. I like it for more delicate surfaces. Available at Wal-mart, Amazon, etc.

Chip controlled cat door works really well. Keeps the interlopers out.

Ha! How quick you guys are to bow to kitty wishes to choose their own domicile, their owner’s wishes be dammed (but yes, you may have read posts I’ve made of my neighbours - so ya, kitty recognizes a significant difference in opportunity) This more than anything defines cats vs dogs I think. It’s been an interesting journey with having our first (house) kitty.

We’ll see how this fall into winter goes. If instances of neglect with the onset of colder weather happens, we’ll take Bob in.

Omg. Kitteh on the left just needs a beret to go with the moustache and goatee. Hip cat.

That's a perfect example of a Snowshoe kitty on the right; sweet blue eyes.

    Frenchie is cool too.

Seems to work as advertised. To test just how well it works I applied it to old but cleaned litter (had not washed the boxes either). I use "World's best litter" without added scent/odor fighters and my boxes are high sided extra large being used by 3 cats. I didn't notice a smell to the product but cats sniffed it a bit (was a bit worried it might deter them from using the box but luckily it has not). Been applying it to the litter and around the sides of the boxes everytime I scoop. I give it a solid thumbs up.

Just got the brush after you posted it KQ and I can honestly say it is amazing, especially after the recommendation. Thanks so much for the review

    Awesome!

I noticed with my low pile area rugs I have to adjust which direction I rake. Left to right on one rug but the other rug is right to left.

The angle also needs to be adjusted for different items.

    Yup
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

    Kitty Stoke

This building on my brothers farm near Macon GA is where it all started 10 years ago. My SIL was feeding her horses and saw some movement behind some hay bales. It was a tiny, malnourished 2 month old kitten who my Mom would later name GG, short for Georgie Girl like the 1960s song.

I am farm-sitting for several weeks while my brother and his wife travel. Part of my job duties include taking care of GGs arch-nemesis KitKat. These two cats do not get along well, lots of growling and hissing. No actual fighting though.

    Pic of KitKat:
