Colder than a witch’s tit out there.

    Respect.

On the bright side, at least for Xmas the temps forecast to stabilize at -30C with the sun out.

Just went out and burnt some leaf in honour of the solstice at -33C. Crisp is an understatement.

Down this way, low forecast for 3 (F) overnight. Not so bad, but balanced out by the fact that the first floor HVAC shit the bed yesterday, and spare part won't be here until Tuesday. At least the bedroom is upstairs.

Yesterday at 2:30 I remember it was garbage day. -17 at the time. I got layered up, drug the can out and not 10 minutes later the truck showed up. -35 this am, going to wait a while before I go bring it back.

Not as cold as some of you, but this looks like it’s about to fuck things up in MA.

You know it's bad when your car is commenting on the weather (Dammit!).

I heard that it was over 60 degrees colder in Denver today than it was yesterday. That's nuts. We've got a chance of freezing rain overnight tonight in Seattle. Looks like it could be really bad near the passes.

Today is 8 seconds more sunlight than yesterday! A corner has been turned. Will also honor the solstice in the same manner but will stick with a gummy in order to not have to venture outside. Despite spending lots of time at these latitudes I'm a wimp with the cold.
