I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Quarantining on a storm day sucks, no skiing till Christmas eve sucks.

But, I am getting ready for my annual Christmas Eve Snowbird employee appreciation day.

Gonna wait till the middle of next week to hit the liquor store for the fifths for tram ops, patrol, and snow safety. Take care of your local ski area employees!

A couple years ago I was doing my thing, handing the candy bags out, ride the tram and Dave Fields was standing next to me. Handed him a candy bag and told him, “Happy Employee Appreciation Day!” Lol

Edit. I’m pretty sure that was the year I saw noted candy lover TFW male spawn in the plaza and tossed him a bag as well. (He was stoked, heh)

Gotta admit Kevin's got good bait, whatever he, she, it is. Showed true colors with "u must be liberals'' jab, just another bully. Maybe an SSB prank?

If it was sour candy he's been looking for you ever since.

Cheers to your ski. Going to try my hand at a baseweld tonight - hopefully I don't die.

Also managed to get my ever first pow slash pic Friday. Pretty impossible to be negative when baldy shoulder was firing as well as it was....

    That's a good one!

Can confirm shoulder was most excellent today as was much of Alta, but I do enjoy tight pivoty bumps

Saw a ton of avalanches today along the PC ridgeline. Not sure if from ski patrol avy control or natural/skier triggered. Regardless, made me stick to low angle stuff.

Not sure why it's not on the UAC, but there was a controlled slide on East Baldy this morning.
First Class 3 I know of for the range this season, kinda widespread, easily tickled.
When the predominant wind direction is 280 or so, aint no rocket science.

Dang. It's a good reminder that even with our low snowpack, it's still pretty gnarly out there.
