I definitely didn't feel that last chair was best chair. For me at Alta best chair was 1pm an hour into the heavy snow but before it got too crowded. After that it did start to come down much harder nonstop but so did the people. Every chair was taken on Wildcat (and I think Collins too) and there is only so much terrain for everyone so despite the heavy snow the people were skiing it off quicker than it came down. I ended up leaving an hour early since it was clearly not getting better despite the heavy snow.

I’m pushing myself to move onto something other than Dipsy Doodle.
The work hours suck 8 months out of the year. Luckily it drops off when Alta is at its finest.

The beer or water offer is good for all, not just Kevin.

I stood there for over an hour watching every Alta employee from the entire ski school to ski patrol and I think even some lifties do lap after lap after lap of Wildcat for well over an hour.

this Kevin guys a real Chachi it seems, I was in the last chair parade yesterday and was having a better time after each run after 3pm, canyon was greasy for us but hey I got better turns than Kevin!

Even when 90% of the mountain is still closed uh? I have more days at Alta then you do. I know where all the secrets are. I can get fresh tracks days after a storm..... but not when it is closed.

No you didn't. And no I don't.. And I can tell you right now that anyone who skis 2,000-3,000 vertical feet of perfect untouched powder every day and then goes home is going to be a far far worse skier than someone who will ski 50,000 vert of powder, ice, ruts, bumps, steeps, crust, avy debris, groomers, and every type of variable terrain you can imagine. I had the shortest day I have had in a long time and even I did more vert in that short time then you have probably ever done in your biggest day touring. Put a touring guy in a resort with bad firm rutty ski conditions and let's see how well he does.

Yeah all us "low emotional iq" guys who served in the military during war time as teenagers. That is us. Everybody knows only "low emotional iq" guys can do the military. All the "high emotional iq" people obviously go straight into some liberal arts college with Playdooh and puppies for whenever it gets too stressful then gets out with a high paying tech job at a company whose biggest department is HR in order to tend to all the "high emotional iq" graduates.

Pretty sure skifishbum is a vet and not an asshole....some might disagree, but he brings stoke and is very giving. You could learn a lot.

Skiing is fun. I like to ski. I like to ski bunny slopes and steep slopes. I like to ski trees and bowls. Resort or backcountry is just fine with me.
Skiing any day is great and I don’t like negative skiers. Sam I am, just no green eggs or ham!
