The variable variability was just too much for me to deal with on my old skis. Trigger pulled on 184 Steeple 108s. I think there's enough red on the topsheets to make them fast enough for my purposes...
More seriously, my recent online experience with Jay on ON3P's website chat was great. I'm happy to support companies who are committed to their products and seem genuinely interested in supporting their customers and building stoke.
Bring on the white stuff!
I always hated that kind of saying because it's really it's own ski. If you had to make the comparison then yes it shares some characteristics to the kartel but it's specifically designed for women. It's not a "pink it and shrink it" ski. Frankly, I think the 98 will be great for her and will be versatile. My wife skied the 98 out at alta and snowbird last year and she loved it. Different conditions than you probably get at Whistler but it sounds like they are similar skiers.
The 108 shares more similarity to the Kartel 116 than the Kartel 108. Bi-radius sidecut and more taper. Essentially a more soft snow oriented design.
The primary differences between the Kartel and Jessie series is that the Jessie series is designed to flex and engage with a lighter weight skier. As such, the sidecuts are designed a bit tighter (so they engage faster) and the skis are softer, so again, you can get the ski into a nice flex with less weight. Besides that, they operate under the same Kartel-esc platform. The core profiles are similar and share the same length-based proportional flex changes. The Jessies also feature a lighter weight fiberglass (lighter on the 0 degree fibers only - so similar torsional flex). Hope that helps.
Seriously, this can’t turn into yet another ON3P thread....
Will supergoats be an early season thing, or mid/late season?
Looking at some electronics, but wondering if I should save the $$ in case of an upcoming ski purchase
I cant afford one on top of the other, do I have some time for electronic gadgets or no?
And post pics [emoji6]

I know most here aren't interested in urban, but we just released our first team movie if anyone wants to check it out.

Will there be a big mountain edit...![]()
cool video, I think it really highlights how unique the skiing of your team is right now.
however, one thing that really stuck out were the long shots of the kids/girl on the street, especially considering how uncomfortable they all looked at being filmed for such an extended period.
I would love to see LSM and Sammy Carlson skiing together.
^^ LOL...
Josh A must have provided some good footage. Him and his crew were killing it at Squaw last year with all the snow we had. Fun to watch.
