Surprisingly, they often have a very soft, smooth mouth feel.

My local Whole Foods had Sip of Sunshine yesterday. There was only one 4 pack left, but I wouldn't mind if they made that a regular thing.

Are you in MA? Beer store in Amesbury is getting it once every two weeks or so now. Sells out instantly of course.

SOS is good, even great, but still over-hyped; It's brewed in Connecticut for christ sakes!

This was in Hadley. It was just sitting there on the shelf by the Two Roads stuff. I'm not really one to pursue beer, as there are plenty of brews I enjoy that I don't need to plan my life around acquiring, but if I could just pick up SoS while I grocery shop...well my wife's insistence on Whole Food shopping would be much more palatable. 😀

Heh, I've only had it a few times but I remember loving it. I was drinking it back to back with Heady and notably preferred it. I liked it's balance better.

Though I do feel about HT how you feel about SoS. I really like it; but it's not my ultimate beer like much of the world views it.

Yeah, I think SOS is super smooth and balanced. It's a great beer. I had a Heady last night and it is good, but for my palate, it's not great. I prefer their Focal and Kadoosh (the most recent one is the only one I've had). The Foam brews up in VT are money! And then there's always Swish from Bissell!!

Tried the Rogue Cold Brew IPA with coffee in it last night. Bought a 6er of cans at Plaid Pantry. Pretty decent but don't think it's worth seeking out. I wasn't sure what to expect before I poured it. Based on the label I thought it might be a hoppy dark ale. Turns out it is actually pale ale color like an actual IPA.

I liked Whirlpool much more, which is definitely a departure from my norm of more hops the better.

Never was able to get my hands on that one. The batch of Morph I had was solid but not more than that.

I haven't had that one yet. Hoping to score some Nothing Gold.

A lot of breweries are making really good beer these days. Pretty amazing what's gone down in the past 6-7 years since the Alchemist started selling Heady to-go on the east side. Pliny's been going for a quite a bit longer I believe, but everything starts on the west side.

I managed to get The Other One from Tilted, it is very good. Not real big on waiting in line for beer but I didn't have any plans so said why not. They just put in two new tanks and should be dramatically increasing the production. Proc is fantastic, can't wait to see the new brewery in Warwick once it's completed.

Went to the Vt Brewery Fest last weekend and hit up Fiddlehead for the Cowboy Neal and Mastermind release. Scored all around!Click image for larger version.

Funny you guys live near Tilted Barn, my bro in law lives right down the road. Didn't think it was well known. Went last week and rode some wicked RI single track
Actually awesome trails on Hopkins Hill, then straight to tilted barn for some oysters and tasty brews. Maybe 10 people there

    But tonight.....
