No, that's Lost Trail in the background.
The fast way up to 2500m.
Screw around throwing rocks off the ridge and have a beer break.
Ride a bunch of alpine ridge up to this pretty looking spot.
Looking down the ridge from that pretty spot.
Huh the ridge didn't look this steep on google earth. Hold on tight the trail drop all the way down to the river. Oh hey look at the shuttle road way down there at 1500m.
Smiles all around. Now let's spend the rest of the day shuttle lapping the lower 1500m of awesome trail.
^^^ Beautiful spot! What area?
Middle of f'in nowheresville. South east of Lillooet.
Also this was a return trip to this. We did the first heli drop on it in 2008. Talking to Scott the pilot he thinks he's only done about 12 drops up there since. There was actually another group from Squamish that was ahead of us on Saturday. Funny that of 12 drops in 7 years two of them are back to back.

You'll see Chris reference the pinkbike article in the old thread. The guys up there decided to let the cat out of the bag in hopes to get some more tourism in Lillooet.

I remember seeing those while back. Looks like a riding style all its own up high in the alpine!
Only a few pics from my Oregon trip last week since I was solo.
The mighty steed.....the bike is pretty cool too
In a van....down by the river
Gotta love gorgeous free camping on the Salmon
Oakridge Alpine Loop -- killer climb but worth it for one of the best/longest downhills ever
A few shots from the Tiddlywinks trail in Bend

Spent the weekend up at Steamboat. Stepped up and hit the big sender at the bottom of Rawhide on my 6" bike. Biggest drop I've hit yet - landed down on the dirt. Scary as your wheels roll off the end to see so much air between you and the landing. Used to doing that on skis, way different on a bike. No action shots (solo), but fuck it was fun, scary and I'm stoked, so there.

Raced the Targhee enduro this weekend. Great time, well-organized event, lots of time in the sun without sunscreen, and a great mix of a course between Targhee loose, rocky gnar and pedally (like, 16 minute stage).
Was super psyched to show my mom that a photographer caught me aggressively standing on the pedals with a pained expression on my face while I let my pupils bulge gratuitously, probably from the weight of the full face I was also carrying:
Then I got caught doing a twisty bar bike acting thing. Double score!
