Shit, that kind of money gets you five major mountains in Colorado within driving distance of each other. Have fun, guys.

Btw, midweek Killington with blackouts is 399. Just sayin'. Oh, but wait, it's soooooo uncool there, isn't it?

$489 early season rate seems fine to me for essentially a private ski hill

$489 is way too low. Especially if Magic really wants to be on par with MRG ($655, shareholder, $771 non before 10/15)

Way to low? Seriously that pass is worth no more than $300. Oh, and MRG is for trust fund posers. Keep it dirty, keep it local.

And Killington's coolness has increased exponentially in a direct inverse relationship to Benny's distance from said slopes.

Pretty much don't care as long as I get to ski with you guys of course, but the dream is a $449 season pass, two summit chairs, and a november to april season built on three hundred inches of natural snow. MMP can keep the mix tapes rolling, and maybe they put Ommegang on draft so I don't miss ny too much.

So Jeff with a G is going to be running the show? Has ownership changed hands, or just management? Is there any new information available that can be shared?

Speaking of Woodcock, is it just a coincidence that Earlywood moved back to southern VT after selling his interest in his 29 acre estate in Bedford, NY... And prices immediately spiked?!

Oh, you misunderstand. I'm talking about living down the road to one of the mountains, not in Denver.

Wow, on top of it all, is Magic only open on the weekends? Such a deal.

    Hey guys, here it goes.

    I told you so.

Winter Park to Copper can easily be 2+ hours for the 60 mile drive. Enjoy getting to the other 4 mountains on your pass.

    Try harder.

Oh, btw, both of those mountains are open seven days a week. Hey, there's one mountain that's open from October to June! Cool, huh?

Doesn't fucking matter if they are open 365 days a year and you live in the penthouse suite...

I've got 4 alpine ski areas, 6 nordic areas, a trail that runs from Mass>Canada, and plenty of backcountry all within 20 minutes of my house. I skied the Braun huts, Broome, as well as Berthoud and Loveland last year. 70 or so days on snow all for well under $1k. I have nothing to prove to you. I'm glad you enjoy Colorado.

You forget where all the snow in the country fell last season. My days in CO were the worst conditions I skied last year.

Feel free to thumb through this thread for a reminder.

    1. Determining the final decimal in pi
    2. Reasoning with Benny
    3. Finding two snowflakes that are exactly the same

You all realize what these have in common?
