You guys are all young and rad, but I'm 50 fucking years old, and don't have instagram. If the public can't get a properly accurate and on-time snow report from magicmtn.com how can we expect them to come? Think people will just swing by and hope the place is good to go, or that there are trails open?
Your website is the front door to your store. Not updating it is like leaving the door locked. It makes it hard to ring the register.
I would love to see some metrics on where our skiers come from, why they come, how they heard of us, would they recommend us to a friend, why or why not?
The uphill policy is fine, but like The Tool said, whether it creates more than goodwill and some buzz within a small segment of a small market, I am not sure. Anything positive that costs nothing is a good thing, and if nothing else can be added to the list of why magic is a good place.
I think we all do more than complain. The people that post here are all stakeholders and/or investors such as it was.
