i find that for the longer shutter speeds and rivers it works better with a little less flow so there is a good mixture of calm water as well. splitter has this down pat, and he can get his dog to sit still for the long exposure too. sometimes i think it's a stuffed dog.
i was working on it more last year than this year (not a good example of what i was saying)

totally get what you're saying, I'm sure I'll try it some more...it's full on spring freshet right now though and I kinda wanted to capture the volume somewhat which I think I did...just realized that it cut off the right edge of the photo, I need to start using something other than facebook linking!

Wow, wanted to fix my last post. I realized that unless you flatten the smart layer when resizing an HDR efex pro clip it will totally fuck it up.
