    A few from Game 3, I can't take me 70-200 but they let me use a 35.

Not a great pic but KGs face is awesome.

First lax game of the season. Its all a bit soft again, taking pictures is hard.

This one came out kind of cool, the blurring is from the heat radiating off the turf field. I could see it with my eyes but wasn't sure if I could get it on camera.

Outabounds - is that multiple exposures?

If a single exposure, please tell us how you capture all that detail in an exposure short enough that only the stars at the edges of the frame are blurring AND keep the noise at bay.

Mtngirl - solid first efforts. Also, in the bear shot it almost looks like the lens back-focused. I know you've said that you've had a hard time getting good results with that lens so maybe that's what's going on. Does your camera have any AF fine-tuning options?

CW - single exposure. Detail's there at 8 seconds due to 1.4 aperture and the fact that the D600 is fucking magic. What looks like star movement at the edges is lens distortion/astigmatism of some sort. Don't know the real name for it.

    mtngirl,
Did you go over Anderson or O'Neil Pass? If so, how was the snow level?

Well I'm sold. That'd be my new camera if I could buy one now. Amazingly clean for that high of ISO. Using High ISO Noise reduction?

It's pretty sweet. High ISO NR and long exposure NR are turned off in camera. Plenty of NR done in LR4.

outabounds don't suppose you could post the original of that image? curious to see how much processing really needs to be done to get it like that.
