Pretty strange that both Copper and A-Basin are only reporting 3" this morning. I have 2x that in my driveway in Breck. Merry X-Mas!

Loveland's reporting 8"... so it's not completely out of the realm of possibility.

got first tracks in game creek bowl this morning. was seriously DEEP. face shots galore, everybody was hooting and hollering.

rope dropped on Faro (Ouzo??) and that was ridiculous

best day I skied in a long time... so much deeper than 7 inches. pure blower too.

I am soooo stoked right now about the day I just had

Sounds like those of us who hung out with the family today missed out. Anyone got a report from T-ride or Purg?

    Skied vail.

GF broke her snowboard binding, leading to an hour or so cruising around lionshead while she was getting it fixed. It was tough knowing things were getting skied out during that time.

Sun Down was amazing and the best snow I found on the mountain. Siberia opened today, was ok, but not as deep and there is a sun crust right under the new snow. Not nearly as good as sun down.

did a short tour out in the backcountry today, north facing stuff was really nice, but stuck to lower angled stuff, south facing had a bit of a sun crust. Pretty hot today with the sun. Hardly any wind from this last storm, looked nice out there today.

ULLR delivered big time for vail. Choked on pow first few runs frontside. Skiied more like a 2 feet in spots than the reported 7 inches. Lapped Sun down, seldom, never... all day. Was still getting blower faceshots at 3pm.

Also should have noted to be careful with rocks/stumps right under the surface. I hit a large buried rock in sun down tip first, locking my ski on place and sending me flying. Really thankful I was skiing something with vertical release, else it would have been bad.

Yep, had to come to the office today...however, they may get another 3 to 6 today and tomorrow could be fun. Or not, because Monarch gets tracked out super fast and people should never go there.
You should have been here yesterday!

Where'd you get that? Just looked at the NWS site and there's a winter weather advisory out:
...A PROLONGED PERIOD OF SNOWFALL TODAY THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...

I think he was referring to the chances of snow after the current storm.
