Last time I was there skiing that boundary run, there was a decent crown in West Bowl that had taken out a couple sets of tracks. It looked like there were enough exit tracks that luckily no one was caught. Dumberer is right

Mr. Munro, bring your gear including skins and meet at the base at 9:15?? Plan includes doing a beacon basin session.

No reply, not going to wait. Going to head straight back to the beacon pit for a quick session so you can find us there for a short time.

...too bad, would have been an absolutely prime learning day.

No shortage of idiots..seriously, you'd think you would fucking learn about what can kill you before randomly skiing big thin pack OB avy terrain stacked with 0 gear.

Aaaaaanyhow, pulled the plug on a scoping mission due to sketch and no managable way through, yet one solo moron with 0 gear pushed on despite telling him reactive snow, weak ass base of sketch and hoar shit sandwhich, next 3 actually turned around...had gear go figure. Went to see how touchy stuff was, got one slab to pull out with a mere 5 lbs piece of snow rolling down the slope to the convexity about half way down the slope from ridge line and took out the feature *5 lbs gently rolling* Had 4 or 5 remote triggers from ridgeline on "relatively" mellow nicely supported terrain, one of which remote triggered from about 60 metres. Mellow slopes collapsing and showing cracks across the entire slopes. Tons of whoomfing...fricken touchy. All on the V-day hoar. Just above treeline and right at treeline off of ridge. Yes it was totally safe where we were. Some one triggered Mt. Fairview on lookers left gulley. I'm amazed no ones been killed locally yet in the past bit. Hope the ratings tanking keep people awa over the weekend.

Crowns on all aspects around Louise. Keep you head on a swivel if heading out.

On a Louise side-note, the Jr Big Mountain comp is going down on ER7 tomorrow and Saturday and ER3 on Sunday. If you want to see some groms that can throw down harder then you, come check it out. I know a few mags kids will be there hucking to hardpack!

And you bet cheer hard for RMF or I'll sick a gaggle of groms on you. And you won't be able to out-run them

^sweet, might have to come cheer on the little rippers on one of the days.

This one had skier tracks on the top and off the side of it, not sure if it was skier triggered or if it happened before or after? Debris...

Can't see them but this one had skier tracks going right in to the crown, looked like an oops

We got this one to go with a 5 lbs piece of snow gently rolling down the slope

Remote from pissing around on the ridge

    Same cause different slide

    same cause...next one

this one was remote triggered from about 30 metres from the flat ridge

Some of the cracks pulled up quite high on to ridge...perhaps if the slabs were a bit stiffer they might have pulled out in to lower angles? Definately don't piss around anywhere near the rolls we were well back. Really touchy.

Scottmunro, you might recall this one as it was that convex roll that was in that north facing shot we skied a couple weeks ago that was half way down the bowl kind of in the middle where the aspect changes. Whole feature went from the roll.

    Amazing how things change

    Thought I'd check back in.

Still alive but I haven't skied or been on here for three weeks (so barely alive).

Wife and baby got brutal colds + wifes work insanity + car shopping + daycare hunting + yada yada yada.

So anyway, I hear it's still winter. Good to see everyone gettin' it on!

Wow every aspect has slid and it looks like the bulletin is going up to high in the next few days. Are you going up tomorrow?

I'll be there hucking to hardpack. Even though some of those landings are so hard they make your balls hurt...

And Angry and Teo, I'm down to shred that line again. Good fun. Next time maybe we should bring a second rope, or sack up and just toss the skis.

Going to hit the parkway and either
    a. clean out a few lines from ridge top...or try to via safe route option
    b. build a booter and jump off it a few times
    c. go meadow skipping in some really mellow terrain, probably on the way out of option "a" if choosing this option
