    ^well done.

SSV is reporting 15, weather station says 10. No wonder why they always have 5cm more than Lake Lousie. I think they are the ones pulling rabbits out of hats. 11cm at LL.

Good shit man, the light really made it look sweet

Had a really awesome line down Punter today, but of course, the Gopro battery had to die just before I went for it.

Fernie was a bit of gong show this morning. Not much was open and the crowds were pretty insane. It seemed that Timber had a problem running at full capacity (which didn't help things), I noticed more then once they sent a bunch of empty chairs up. That being said the snow was light and deep. Hopefully they can get Lizard and Cedar open tomorrow, which will help spread out the crowds.

Went and stomped around on top of some slopes at treeline and just below today to see what we could get to move. Really really touchy out there for sure, really easy to trigger stuff obviously.

Slab in motion taken from a very safe spot.

FYI for the arm chair safety nazi's we had no intention of skiing anything other than meadow skipping.

....oh, fyi something to take note of is there was no whumfing or cracking other than the feel of the snow on the way to that spot so if you are relying on those alone as signs to keep you out of trouble, well......fubar.

Is that why that flippin line was so long when I showed up!

Was there when they FINALLY dropped the rope on Currie. Pretty sweet but what a gong show for sure.
Castle is on the agenda tomorrow.

Those Fernie maggots are vicious and don't leave much untracked for semi late Calgarians.
    Shit was tracked out everywhere.

Pat on the back followed by a big kick to the groin.

Great (half) day at Kimberley. First chair on Easter and got about six untracked runs in before the hordes descended.

Busy day for Kimberley, good for the resort, though. Good for me too as I got in an afternoon nap.

T2C, how deep is that slab? Hard to tell from the trees in the background.

i was there for currie bowl opening and it was hilarious. i watched these guys weasel their way to the rope through everyone then when it opened they beatered on turn #2. i also watched a dad with his kids at the rope pull the pin after the crowd got really huge, fearing they would be trampled in the onslaught. that guy is a good dad.

I don't think that helped, but I think the main reason the line was so long was because there wasn't much to ski on the old side. Around 10:30 you could pretty much ski right on to Bear.

T2C I though I saw you putting your skins on by the beacon training area and I was wondering what you were doing. Glad you weren't out there to ski it.

Another 56 cm at Fernie. Most of the hill will no doubt be closed again. But tomorrow or Tuesday could be rather good.

That's rad. 3 feet in 2 days. Convection. Wish I was there tomorrow. Looks cold and bluebird.

Edit: Also isn't a lot of high terrain S/SW of fernie. Makes a big difference.

That was what they reported at 8 am. At noon I had another 30 on my car.
