so, the 2,3,5,6 days can be any of those places, and not specifically at LL? I already have a revy pass but sounds like it may be worth getting that for any other days at KH or LL? or that may be overkill..

when do LL and castle close end of season? May-ish?

With Revy and Castle included this year that seems pretty solid to me.
Check out Costco for revy, from what I remember their vert card may be worthwhile instead of taking days off your Louise card.

Is the LL card limited now like the ssv card (only good for 7 days total)? If so would have preferred last years setup with ultd days at all those resorts for $50

Out of curiousity where did you hear the Sunshine card limited to 7 days total? I can't find anything on their site about it.

that's because it's not limited. standard discount applies for every day past the 7th. i'm sure louise is the same.

When I was trying to work out the best deal for cards/passes I came up with this. Includes GST/HST where applicable. Louise pass won for me.

impressive. I guess this is good if your not skiing 100+days a year.

Gotcha, I looked on the websites and realized I was wrong. To be honest I don't think I've ever skied at SSV more than 7 days a season so I never really thought about it. And yes, louise appears to be the same as they don't mention anything about being limited.

Nice work, I did the same thing last year. Being a weekend warrior, I get a better value outta the card over the pass since I tend to bounce around a lot. No way I would put in enough days just at LL to make the pass a better deal than the card

    Nope, only 70ish

It was more for a couple of buddies who I was trying to convince to buy a pass.

Solid. Louise Card for Revy/KH/Castle & a Powder Plus Card for WH2O. Tell me again why I'm living at the base of Red? Think I'll be skinning into Plewman basin & area for most of the winter.

Just to make the math harder with a pass you also get a 25% discount at most places which is ~ equal to the $20 discount. It always seems to work out that if you ski one place more than 14-15 times a pass is the way to go even if like to wander. Less than that get a card or cards.

I guess if I broke down and got a pass that would kinda force me to get my money out of it. didn't realize most places offer that discount too, some food for thought for next year i guess

For this season I'm hoping to get more time in the BC though, so the cards are the way I'm going.

Pretty sweet that Revy is included in the LL card. That makes things simpler for me. Didn't the revy card have the first two days free last year? That made it worth it even if you only got there one weekend.
I'll probably get a couple cards (or a few - need to do the math) for SSV/MB and LL/KH/Revy and then a spring pass at SSV. I'll be at marmot a bunch if they get decent snow. Hoping to spend two weeks in KH and Revy, one in dec. and one in february.
Just wish the mountains were a little closer - the weekend warrior drive from edmonton and lodging kills my wallet. Can't complain too much though.
I'd be stoked to meet up and ski with folks - especially when my wife isn't around (though she makes pretty decent turns and will follow me anywhere).
Would also love to explore the dive and the SSV side country this winter...

Those Red trees are a blast though. Especially when they get hit with a good storm (which happens oh so often there!).

Hopefully we'll be carrying our skis on our feet by November.

Anyone ever skied that ridge just between isabelle peak and the highway? I went up that mountain this summer and was thinking the burnt out forest might be pretty epic for high risk days. The lodgepoles are only like 4 feet high right now but they're growing in and that spot probably won't be doable for too much longer. The burnt up trees are pretty big and far apart too, unlike in most of the rockies. I'm thinking those trees would have been good even before the fire...

Sweet man. Some of the Golden and Canmore crew were thinking about a mission up there in the next few days. Pics would be nice!
Flying the Bluehouse colors in Western Canada! Let me know if you want some rad skis!!

The Aussies are in town, the high ice cilmbs are freezing over, the leaves are on their final days, today is my last shorts day, the gapers are whining about the weather, and there is a bit of fresh falling up high. This can all only mean one thing ski "season" is knocking at the door. The "official" lift season is t-minus 16 days away. WOooooooOOTTT!

Card is $100, then days 2,3,5,6 are all $80-20 = $60, and 1,4,7 are free. $100+(60*4) = $340/7 = $48.50 a day, so if you ski 7+ days you are cheaper then last years $50/day. PLus you have deals at other hills too.
Should have known someone would have posted this by now.

Thanks for going the math for my pea brain.

    Purchased 4 of 'em.

Now if Castle gets blessed again or and Fernie closes it bowls or the highway gets closed again I am all SET
