my GF and I recently started fostering doxies again..well we adopted the first one so that might not count. a couple weeks back we picked up Jody and Annie, two 14 year olds who just lost their owner to old age and came to us in pretty rough shape but high spirits.

They beg at the dinner table, something our dog has learned not to do but its pretty hard to turn this down



so far they have lost a ton of fat off them thanks to diet and exercise, have had several baths and some serious dental work and are doing great hopefully we can find them a forever home soon

^^^ Doxies have grown on me. Used to not be a fan, but we have one in the neighborhood that recently chased a female bear up a tree and kept it there.

And this was his birthday present to himself. Chased a rabbit into the woods and came out yelping with a broken leg. The cause of the broken leg is a complete mystery. Poor little bugger. 2-3 months of "strict crate rest".
