Duck Lake by Mammoth, SM. Lived there for a while and fished the hell out of the area. The rod survives and is still part of my favorite trout rig.
nice shot, wra.

lucking out with great water outabounds!
Haven't gotten these up due to being busy, here's one from Yosemite about a month ago. Maybe red-shifted the color temp a bit much but it adds drama to the lighting contrast.

There was so much spray from this angle that I couldn't keep the lens dry, but I kinda like the way it turned out. The focused parts keep it from looking all screwed up, and the blurred parts seem to give it a dreamy quality.
The water didn't seem too chilly until I went in up to my sack. Then,![]()

Moonlight on the Mississippi. Island camping with the family.
Next shot in the sequence has the barge in a better position but 17 mm on the crop wasn't wide enough to get the tent in frame. Both shots are 30 second exposures at iso 400 on the t2i @ f4. I"m finding out that for landscapes the Tamron isn't sharp enough for my taste at F2.8.

Love that Tahoe scenery, splitter.
Cool shot, ugly, and I like the sound of island camping. Must be a blast.
The grumpy old bastard who told us "you can't take pictures here".
Grumpy old bastard.
...after looking at the photo a little more, maybe I should have called him a dickhead.
The little guy just finished his first mountain bike ride, he was a little small to grab the hand brakes and took a few nice diggers. After a few tears we got him on a bike with coaster brakes and he proceeded to slay it.

From the top of Mt. Fuji. My first experiment with HDR. Interesting effect but need a lot more practice playing with the contrast and also getting colours to look as they should. Oh and a tripod would be a good plan.
sunrise over the bay. I quite like the chalky pastel blending that appeared here.
