Anyone interested in heading up to Abasin from Boulder on Thurs? I know this isn’t the ride share thread, but some of the guys on this thread I see are from the area. That’s assuming they get some decent snow. Now that I've jinxed it they probably won't.

had a feeling that would happen, wasn't sure why the Elks were getting snubbed. Just started snowing in CB.

    Montanaskier: Pick One

-an Alabama win/worst winter in decades

-Alabama loss/best winter in the last century

I wonder which one you would root for (all other scenarios are off the table for said hypothetical vote)?

^^^ I refuse to take part in that discussion, I enjoy many people on this board and don't want to ruin friendships or my marriage.

    Advisory for zone 10!

edit: as soon as coverage is better lets tour JT.

For sure. I'll be back in CO on the 1st and will be done with my Masters obligations MLK weekend (woohoo!). There's a few places we can explore now, but it would be nice to have some more options...

Unfortunately, this is what passes for "puking" in EC these days. Wait, a plow truck just went by! I got a chub.

Radar lighting up on the eastern mountains and plains. West of the divide is a different story. Some decent lift is creating snow from Monarch up to I-70, but this lift is waning and the radar returns from the Grand Junction (KGJT) radar are decreasing. Best shot of good snow for Aspen/BC/Vail/Copper looks like later Wed into Thurs morning...a few more inches with a quick and cold storm coming down the pike from Canada.

Wolf Creek and Eldora should do the best.

After dental surgery this afternoon, I now have one less tooth than this morning. Oh what fun. It was an old skiing accident, but seeing as that's the worst skiing accident - one accident - I've had in 24 years of skiing, I'll take it.

Hope the snow falls deeper than expected...

4" on Ajax so far. Hope we don't have to wait another 7-10 days for snow after Thursday.

Just drove from cb to golden. weird storm. light snow and only a couple of inches on Monarch, but coming down hard in places that usually don't get much, like BV and most of south park. crappy drive, but hopefully this storm pans out for everyone..

Was that 4" down in town, or were you up on Ajax in the dark? Good to see at least some snow come tonight...and hopeful (though not optimistic) that it will happen some more on Wed. Under promise, over deliver...

Call forth the name of Ullr, and rejoice, for he hath provided that which ye seek, that which calls to your soul, and thus, completes your existence in this world.

3 on both Vail and Beaver Creek. Skinned up Arrowhead this morning and the 3" made for some creamy turns in the dark/early light. Powderhorn the big winner so far. Maybe we can squeeze some more out of this thing today when the cold front passes.

Agree with Funken, hope we can get something else and not another 7 or 10 day dry spell.

Looks like another case of more snow in the Denver-Metro area than in the Front Range Mtns. Sweet.

Slightly unsettled Thurs and Fri with ridging for Sat and Sun. The storm for early week looks to dig way south so we shouldn't see much of anything from that storm. Still looks unsettled thru New Years but nothing big. MAYBE something after New Years. Looks relatively dry for another 7 or 10 days right now.

Still snowing fat flakes up in Eldora, maybe 3" to 4" so far.
Most runs have been worked over but it's still buttery in the trees.
Hopefully they can open up the west ridge by Friday.

6" was fun on Ajax today, but we definitely need more, especially with the holiday crowds. Snowed lightly throughout the day with some pockets of very dense fog.
