not an inch an hour, half of that. Just got to Eagle Vail from Vail and definately not an inch an hour in the valley. That being said, my wife is headed to the airport in Denver and said it was a mess on VP. I'm skinning in the morning.

If we get what's expected/forecast for tonight, we'll most likely be on the in-bounds stuff first and save the side country for when that's gone. We access the top by lift and then kick-n-glide out various trails to whatever we're doing. Some's close-by, other stuff is as far as you care to go. Hike-to'ers have been skinning up over in the Mesa Creek area below Mesa Lakes. That's 3-4 miles east of the area.

I just set the alarm 2 hours early(1:30am) so I can get done with work sooner and hit up the new snow tomorrow.

Flow is NW for sure. Radar returns are nil so all the snow appears to be terrain enhanced. I can say that it has stopped in the valley and tops appear to have lifted a bit.

It is hard to tell if we will see much more snow tonight. Things here are about the same as they have been all day. Very light snow in the valley, everything higher up is socked in but how much actual snow is falling is hard to say.

There is very little on the radar and it is getting to be less and less.

Yes, absolutely. That is by far a much better idea.

A couple different forecasts are starting to trend toward some snow coming out of the NW starting mid-next week.

snow has picked back up in the valley. Tomorrow could very well be the most money day of the year. NW flows are awesome.

The Noaa map has a big blue blob heading east, good, yes?

It was snowing pretty hard on top of Berthoud at ~8:30pm, not snowing much in the town of Winter Park.

Not much more snow fell around here. It is still early so I am hoping for another inch or so but I do not see it happening. I would love a morning of grooming by braille makes it much easier to stay awake.

Wishing I had purchased the Epic now! lol I usually avoid holidays, but today would have been sick. I'm up and ready to go, but not willing to shell out 100 bucks or drive to Breck for 3" of texan filled fresh. lol

Really nice turns in sun-up/sun-down today. Mid-Calf to Knee deep turns top to bottom for those who got there first.

Chair 5 lift line by 10:15 was over an hour long so I ended up hiking up to 17 to avoid the wait. It's a good 45 minute hike but tbh I probably need the conditioning.

Today's lift lines were the longest I have seen in quite a while. Of course this is expected when its a sunny pow day.

Fingers crossed for China/TC/BSB tomorrow. They were doing a buncha control work out there today....
