There will be a next storm, it'll just be four days away. Full, somewhat humorous details here:

I already got that Gratzo.... I was one of your original email subscribers.![]()
2 rooms plus the "dorm room" upstairs a la Pink Floyd posters, etc., etc..
All maggots are welcome, but, we are not a drinking household. As I told another maggot, we invited friends down once to crash and ski. They got wasted, trashed the house, insulted my wife, fucked with the dogs, and they left the place a wreck. Needless to say, they were never welcome again. If people want to stay, and I mean this, they are MORE THAN WELCOME, as long as they realize that it is a lowkey house, little drinking, etc. Of course, some things are allowed (rasta bro). Also, I leave at 6am so I can do snowpits on the way up.
Gourmet meals are always served, as I used to work as a chef for six years before teaching. Food is free, lodging is free, wax room is open to use and wax is free...all we ask for is respect of the premises.
That said, fkna a for the next storm, and if any mags want in, please just PM me and let me know. You are more than welcome!
Ullr Akbar!
Hey Gratzo, if the Canadian Model pans out, will Wolfie be too far south to get the goods? Not that I care about driving to Monarch, never been so there is a first time for everything.

From what I've heard there was more snow on the ground at the beginning of the season this year as compared to last season when it was really warm around the same time. I can't imagine this year being any worst then last year at keystone and around summit county but anything is possible, just wait till march and april for the real dumps.

Haha. Don't hate on me because colorado seems to be in a snow slump except for vail and beaver who seed all of their snow and steal it from everyone else. I love keystone, it's just the damn donut hole it's located in that I hate, I really hope the stone does better then 200 inches this year. Jong for life!

models still all over the board. Looks to me like a split storm with energy up north and down south. Nothing I see gives me a ton of confidence for big numbers for EC but we'll see, still a ways out. After about two days of snow and cold, high pressure looks to build in again.

Christ we need snow, how can Monarch be the only place w/ a significant percentage of their terrain open and its nearly January? I need to ski next week...
GEEZ! It hasn't been that bad has it? I mean it could be ALOT better such as the last two seasons....but I have caught myself any my friends smiling a few times here and there... You just have to make the best of it. Don't forget..... patience is a virtue! It will come, and if it doesn't then we can all blame montanaskier as he has already taken responsiblity!![]()
snow conditions aren't great in or out of bounds but it is what it is. Chill, drink a beer or two with some friends, get in great shape, slay teh groomerz and have fun. It may not be the best early season or even mid season but as the El Nino weakens, the strom track will shift north and the spring will go off. It'll come.
As for Tuesday/Wednesday.....one solution looks pretty good for EC, one does not. Fingers crossed.

Skiing, whether you're in Wisconsin or the Alps, is a dumbass hick country sport that takes place in the middle of winter on a mountain at the end of a dirt road.

Yeah, I know it'll come... Just having a rough morning and need some snow to hit me in the face soon.
Shit, I don't know what everyone is complaining about, it could be worst and it is only mid dec. Enough with the emo butt hurt angst? hahah, looks like maybe snow tue-thursday this week.

Hey Bert....GTFO!

ULLR AKBAR! ULLR AKBAR
Tuesday: Snow likely, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 17. Breezy, with a west southwest wind between 15 and 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Tuesday Night: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 7. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 10 to 20 mph becoming north northwest. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Wednesday: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 15. Blustery, with a north northeast wind between 15 and 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
If this next storm does blanket Wolfie or Monarch (ie 15 to 20"+), I am not missing it. Time off of work and babysitter in town (mother in law) means road trip!
Campo, I may invite myself to your setup as that sounds amazing! I am a father of two, so I am as low key as it comes![]()
You should have been here yesterday!
we may find time to head south too. This storm again appears ready to dig south. Tuesday and Tuesday night the winds will be from the SW and our zone will once again get the skunk. The winds should shift on Wednesday but again after the main moisture is east of the area. An unsettled NW flow will keep snow showers going but I wouldn't expect a huge increase from our 62" year to date total in EC. The wait continues.
