just found the site while looking for ski reviews, and found tons of help here, so thanks to everyone already for that! figured id join in on all the fun...

born and raised nj, been skiing since i was about 5 (mainly on the ice coast), now 23 and recently graduated college. my major sucked so im now an unemployed pos ski bum. good times!

gotta go back to work the summer in nj, but planning on returning to tahoe for the 09/10 season.

glad to know that ptherock..this forum is so helpful to us..that's why im here to read all threads as much as possible..i find it fun reading these

I spent my first 22 years trying to ski, board, and mountain bike in Ohio; I finally escaped and moved out to Colorado about a month ago! Been lurking here for a year or so, and finally registered.

Last winter was the first season on skis for me and my 7 year old daughter. Picked up new skis, boots and gear at the end of last season and we both have season passes for the local hill this winter (Pats Peak). Hope to ski 3-4 times a week, and really push myself.

Been really enjoying the TR's and tech stuff, and while I won't be hiking and skiing big chutes any time soon, I hope to be good enough to have some fun at Tuckermans in the spring.

I have been checking in & lurking here for the past 3 or 4 years, & have probably skied with some of the people on here without even knowing it. I spent most of my life skiing in Tahoe. The last 9 years have been in UT, but also in BC, AK, Alps & Western US states. I will try & get some good pics of my wife, sister & gf, but I forget where they are hosted.
