My name is Mark, been riding since 1990, living in Northern VA for the moment. Hoping to live out west in the future. Hit CO every winter with my sis who lives out there. Best trip of my life was Squaw.

Life is too short to be serious, laugh it up.
Just joined and making first post. Been skiing since 75 (I was 6) and still doing it. Both knees and back are still intact. Not sure how. Live in and ski New England but lived in AZ went to ASU and skied both AZ resorts as well as several places in Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. Victim of economic meltdown and decided to build a website about what I love to do. Check it out.

I've lurked for a while, but never introduced myself.
Jared, Fort Collins, Co.
Spent the first 8 snow years skiing, and boarding now going on 16 years. I pretty much only ride with skiers, so I've been considering picking up some skis again.
is my middle name but I'll never match the irreverent eloquence of the writers on this site, nor will I attempt to do so. Just happy to be on board with you fockers.![]()
AK noob from bozo got a sled my name is ed wanna shred PM me alyeska or BC
Joined over a year ago, but I'm a sketchy lurker to the max - trying to break out, so here's my belated intro:
Christine, born and raised in upstate NY skiing with the family at Gore, Whiteface, West, Jiminy... blah. Went to college in Boston and became a hardcore weekend warrior resort-er and twice yearly "best coast" vacationer.
Moved my ass to Stowe, VT to ski every day, find a mag who could keep up, get a dog and not work a day ever again. So far, so good 8-) Looking to relocate in the near-distant future for a longer stint on the west. Until then, working on my quiver! Bring the freshies
I may have slept with you last night, but that doesn't mean I'll ski with you today.

When I want advice about a good Planet of the Apes film or maybe how to get the resin out of my bong, I'll come to you okay? But I am not going to take romantic advice from somebody who cannot spell romantic or advice... or bong.
just lurking. lots of good info, thanks
Waiting for my 181 wrens to get here...mmm, I can't wait for that new ski smell!
So been lurking off and on for a season or two and figured I would join the disfunction.
Started skiing about 15 yrs ago on some big lines in the mid atlantic statesie. Ski liberty and Ski roundtop. Made my way to Utah about 8 years ago and havent looked back as far as skiing is concerned.
Currently ski on some BD Verdicts and find the 'bird my location of choice. I am a decent average skier but no big mountain ripper.
Straight lurker. Sophmore ski instructor at the Beav. Love the sidecountry here. JJs should be here soon plus the Prophet 90s as daily driver. Just marking the time 'til I move to SLC.
Hi, my name is Ilari.
I'm from southern Finland and been skiing since I was a small kid. I'm 18 years old now and I think I've skied for something like twelve years. I'm usually at the park because we don't get that much snowfall here. I love skiing deep snow though and do so whenever I get the chance. My ski quiver consists of Line Elizabeths and I love them.
I'm also an avid photographer and BMX rider. You can check out my photos at my Flickr. Skiing photos at pages 7-10.
Bjorjost is a 130 days ski-touring, 4 days ski-lifting, 25 days avy-teaching, 365 days swedish tobacco-chewing, 0 days skinny-skis riding a year west-Norwegian. 3 or four posts that has been slammed down upon by all of you all, having neglected the "search" function. Now i have learned, hopefully.
Edit: Line 130, Coomba 188, Sumo 175, Praxis Powder 185. All dynafits except Praxis with Dukes. I know.

I love the fact that TGR officially originated in the area I now call home. And that that area grew its stones on the efforts of visitors from around the world. Now with this internet thingy pushing electrons past your TV and into your lap well gooooooooollllllllleeeeee.....we can say whatever we want....and momma ain't listen no more. Been here sinc 06 just recently got the vibe to chime in and post...life is busy thats good...don't take too much of what you read here to bed, you will surely lose sleep or have some nightmares....just be cool and do the hardest thing there is to do before you type.....yup thats THINK......THINK first, think again, grab a beer and then type...or else you run the danger of well.......being that guy or girl! and we all love to dribble snot on that guy while his girlfriend watches don't we?! or say cruel things about a lady's hair butt in front of others.......you get the dark picture....doncha?
Life at altitude is good.....dreaming about a life at altitude is good too....no one here is better than anyone else but some would have you belive otherwise....your personal life experince is just that YOURS, not mine or the next guys.....remember a closed hand cannot accept a beer and a closed mind is almost always the result of a closed hand. Opinions are like assholes - everyone has one but not many want to hear from them. Remember that before you drop trou and let fly.
Fucking sappy liberal shit I am typing here......damn wife's been lighting those freaking candles before dinner again ......told her a $65 candle HAD to be spiked with something.........cannibs sative citrus my ass!
This mindless ramble has been brought to you by the 18% of americans out of work 8% of which aren't even counted by the feds anymore........Honey!!!! where's the cookies.......??!!!!
I don't take much too seriously for obvious reasons. Mostly I like to stir up some crap and see how bad it can stink......not that there's anything wrong with stink....god knows stink has its place in life...usually right alongside those who disagree with me.
Greetings from Turkey! (lets get it over with the thanksgiving jokes)
Been lurking for some time now, turns out that I did have an account, but never posted. Member of a minority of skiers who actually love skiing deep pow in Turkey
Quiver of one: K2 Seth
Haven't checked, but probably first Turkish guy on TGR!
Finally registering after long time lurking! I can't wait to post inappropriately in forums, confuse my shit disturbing aliases (allia?) and not use the search function.
I learned to ski at Shames, and my current fav place to ski is Kicking Horse. I love the taste of cold smoke in the morning!
Registered just a short while ago because I found the site both informative and fun, plus I figured as the distributor for Kneissl some of the TGR folks (dare I say maggots?) might find some information on our products interesting from time to time.
This is my 46th year skiing, and I find it as fun today as I did when I started. Learned to ski at "Ski Acres" (Snoqualmie Summit in PNW) and have been fortunuate to ski in over 100 areas throughout the West and Europe. Currently am a ski school trainer for a ski school at the Summit.
Ski on Kneissl (naturally), and though I'll get slammed for it by many, actually still prefer to ski on a frontside, narrow waisted ski (Kneissl Red Star SC which has a slalom sidecut, 12.5 meter radius), although the more I ski on some of the other skis in our line that are more all mountain and freeride, the more I like them. I guess I'm probably too old school for a lot of you.
Really like the site...
Mike

Been lurking for about a season, and decided to join.
I moved out to Seattle about a year ago and I have been trying to make the most out of skiing in real mountains ever since. Mostly, you can find me at Alpental but I make my way to Crystal, Stevens, Baker, and Whistler a few times a season.
I'm a major JONG, but hopefully through this forum I can be a minor JONG and find someone to pass the skills and secrets of the PNW back/sidecountry along.
Look foward to shredding with some of you.
Just like the rest of the minions...I've been lurking for a while and thought it was time to cowboy up and enter the fray. I've met a bunch of you mags through Ttips, ski trips, and biking. Looking forward to getting some turns in this season!
I do not have any nekkid pictures to post. Please forgive my jonginess...![]()
Glad I am here, been into TGR films for awhile. Best out there.
Just moved to Breckenridge for work.
