The 1/2 barrel was the plan all along. I'm pretty confident we can finish it between Friday night and Saturday skiing, and be down in the valley for the party...

In case it has been sufficiently buried, my product testing friend who works for Black Diamond is shipping me a 3'by4' piece of skin to cut/glue/bolt/whatever to a sled so that the keg won't slide downhill if said keg dragger stops hiking... Whoever is in on keg detail should meet up early to organize (phall, gpet, grub, me, brock)

A certain Bar Owner in the Valley offered his beer ordering services so that we can make shit real official and get a keg of Tuck's... It's just so damn fitting, plus he'll give up a tap. Team Ascend-with-Keg leaves sometime on Friday afternoon, fkna

with the number of people helping to get the keg up, i'm just hoping that we don't finish it before we get to the top.

yes, but keep in mind that beer only is for those who schlep..

actually, that makes me think of something: someone has to pay, and someone has to schlep. i propose that nobody be both.

Definite dates. There will be beer at the top. I think having a nice Tucks Ale while sledding/pulling/carrying would lead to cramps. I, for one, will bring a couple beers with me to drink at the top instead of tapping the foamy keg. Let the keg rest a bit. Then Saturday...its all good.

I think 30 is about right for confirmed for maggots. The extended network could almost double that number methinks, I've heard yesses from a ton of my friends not on tgr

wow, if we really do get that many, then I think we'll need 2 kegs.

to be honest, since I'm seriously considering entering this "Death Race", perhaps the I ought to attempt to schlep a keg by myself. http://tinyurl.com/2wt85r

Woodcorps and I are definitely considering it. We'd like to make it, but it's too early to confirm for us. We would, of course, contribute to keg costs.

If we can only schlep one keg...perhaps we can soup up one of these to carry up additional libations. It goes 13mph!
