    Is there any way to find out who called your cell phone when it was off???

    When my phone is off, I do not get missed calls- only voicemails if people leave them. I was out of phone service today and got back and had a hangup message. Normally I wouldn't care about this, but it has happened several times recently and I'm curious to know who is trying to call me.

    If you pay like 5 bucks extra you get caller ID service.

    When I'm listening to my AT&T voicemail messages, I'm asked "and press 7 for additional options" This lists the time, date and caller ID for whomever left the voicemail.

    with my TelecomNZ mobile account, if I missed a call for being out of range or phone was off, they would send me a text showing who rang, (with time & callers ID), even if they never left a message.

    That TelecomNZ sounds like a damn good idea.

    I called *611 from my Verizon phone and talked to an operator. She said "sure, we will be happy to tell you! You just have to wait till the 20th of this month when your billing cycle ends."

    with Verizon after you have finished listening to the message you can press 4 for more options and then I believe you press 5 for envelope options. It will tell you the number of the person who called
