Lie back, close your eyes, and think of New England?

Exactly. I'm pissed at the 'Skins and their incessant 3-and-outs (did it last week too, and the Cardinals SUCK.) No defense can hold up for 45+ minutes - the Offense has to help them out by getting some first downs.

Someone please get Clinton "I fall down at the slightest touch" Portis off my team. STAT.

I do not recommend doing this whilst skiing.

So if Tom breaks the single season TD record, and Barry just broke the all time HR record, it means my high schools all of you.

Clearly as a man with a gun you have the upper hand, if you can find the beast you're probably going to fuck him up. That is ok, what would not be ok is if after the kill you decided you weren't satisfied and were going to go track down the beast's offspring and kill them too. It doesn't make you a better hunter, and it certainly doesn't prove that you're the bigger man, but you could do it if you wanted to.

Same deal. It ain't sporting, by the time the score was 38-0 they KNEW the game was won. As far as the Redskins coming back from that, don't you think that the Patriots, being "one of the greatest NFL teams of all time" would be able to put up another TD in the fourth quarter? No? If you don't then I would have to say that you have a very small penis and that you are very insecure.
I guess my question would be, how would you go about "not scoring" if you were the Patriots? EVERYTHING was working for them. Should they have just downed the ball every time, then just stand there on defense and let the Redskins score?
It's not like they were running flea-flicker's on 3rd and 1.

How cool would it be if they were?

I want to see them play like the Harlem Globetrotters when they get a good lead like that.

    That would awesome.

Once the game is put away the Pats just treat the remaining time on the clock as practice. They're just havin' fun out there, and I'm sure the players are loving it. That said, Belichick is losing his mind, and it's a little sad. His wife left him, his reputation has taken a big hit, and he's taking his anger out on the NFL. He looked Travis Bickle-level unhinged when answering questions after the game yesterday.

Thats the look of a completely focused genius.

I hope next Monday there is a thread that reads " BREAKING NEWS 2....(NFL RELATED)". And when you open it it says something like, why are the Patriots so mean to Peyton Manning. With a youtube video of belgian crying under his bed sheets about how the Patriots are so mean.

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

That would rock. I'd keep watching... They should let let guards line up at tailback, maybe the kicker gets to run a couple of plays at wideout, maybe put the backup QB in at linebacker and let him blitz!

The ultimate, though, would be throwing a TD pass to a Linebacker.

Gutierrez, the third string QB, is on the kickoff team.

Didn't Moss play DB for a play yesterday? Or maybe it was on the kickoff team, I wasn't paying much attention by then.

No doubt - we stunk up the place.

And Moss played DB on the last play of the 1st Half - standing on the endzone line waiting for the hail Mary that never came (screen pass to Portis, who dutifully fell down when touched.)

Missed this one. In reference to Bill Parcells:

Yeah, sportsmanship and class are so 1995. Acting like a bunch of cocks, though, is apparently the new black.

My point earlier wasn't that the Pats should let up on teams, or that they should apologize for winning. My point (which I think is Nick's as well) is that there is a classy way to humilate your opponent, but the Pats so far this season have chosen to forgo class and head straight for the degradation option.
