why march? Merlyn is having a jr coming out in jan then so march is better, and I want to ski with him, again.

After thinking even more about these dates, skiing Tahoe in my backyard with our best months later on including March, I think the logical thing for me is to consider UT in Jan or Feb.

However, I'm waiting a day or two to hear about the AK details. Left a message on your phone.

    HALP!

    Hey str8liners,

I managed to pay a deposit for one (was unable to get back to the registration form) but need to book two slots for Whistler. Tried email, PMs and phone to no avail. Sorry to be a PITA, but don't want to miss the window of opportunity.

    Thanks in advance....

Sorry, but we just switched to Paypal and there have been a few glitches. We're working on directing people to the registration form and thought it was fixed so it's good to hear from you that there is still a problem.

Who are you PM'ing? I haven't received a PM from you. Which e-mail did you try? Is it info@straightlineadventures? If so, that must also be a problem that needs to be fixed because I haven't received anything. My personal e-mail is gordy100@msn.com.

Don't worry, you won't miss out. PM sent.

Just paid the deposit and signed up for Whistler. Looks like everything went through fine. I'm so insanely busy right now that I don't have much time to check TGR, keep track of deadlines and how quickly spots are filling up. Seems like they're going fast and I didn't want to miss out, so I just went ahead and pulled the trigger. Totally looking forward to the Gordy camp experience! Hopefully my knee will be in fine shape by then. Am getting my MRI results on Monday and should finally know what, if anything is really wrong, and how to proceed with treatment.

If you need any instructors let me know. I can teach anyone to rip as hard as I do. I wear a full face helmet and baggy pants so you know I'm mad steezy. I can even slide rails if your peeps are into that. I should be in all the mags by the end of this season so now is your shot at getting the goods before they blow up.

I'll be rocking a job (a real job!) in a few months and without knowing how the whole weekend/vacations thing ends up I'm hesitant to commit to that.

Haha, yea, that first year or two trying to establish yourself sucks.

The problem was that you had to click the "return to SA" button after you paid the deposit to get to the registration form. Now, when you finish the payment it takes you directly to the registration page. This should remove any confusion.

If anyone is still having a problem, be sure and let me know.

Ouchies. $675 was not what I was expecting (I was hoping for more like $450).

    How cheap can lodging get?

    It's $575 for maggots as I recall.
I just got off the phone with Str8line about that. I'll let him post the details or options.

Congrat's on career #1!! If you don't start for awhile yet it would be tough to plan for these things. Put yourself on standby in the event there's a cancellation.

Gordy, any chance you could post when spots are filling up? I'm still waiting to make sure I can go the days of the Whistler camp, and I'd be bummed if I miss out. If it's getting past 50% capacity already I'll just register now and take the chance.

    Thanks

I *might* be able to swing it but Utah is a lot easier for me, less time off work and all...those straight flights to SLC from JFK really help... plus if I did WB, I'd want to do a whole week shindig cuz I have never skied it...

What if you don't ski, but would like to partake w/ the whiskey and the ladies?

    How much would that cost?

I'm going to take the whole week off and ski a few areas in washington the weekend before, then head up to Whistler for a few days before the camp.
