TR some weeks are better than others 1-4-07 through current time

    Caveat: my pictures suck
    Skiers and Riders:
    Mags:
    Nitro
    Greguar
    Oski
    GRskier
    Tatsuno
    Nonmags:
    Brandon
    Riley
    Sarah
    Becky
    Vickie

    Tunes:

Well, Friday I had the opportunity to get a lesson from one of our local rippers.
Tatsuno teaching me how to carve at mach 4 googleplex

Then he teaches me how to buckle my boots (he landed out of frame too )

Yes, thats a headcam you see in Tatsuno's first shot. Having someone like him say, hey, I'm going to follow you all day and get this thing dialed in makes you ski fast and a bit more continuous. Needless to say I was way stoked, and way tired after Friday. I haven't been able to see any of the footage yet, but I'm sure some of it has come out.

Saturday we woke up to snow, but it really just started, we were thinking dust on crust... long breakfast.... snow starting to pound made us wondering if conditions were going to be good....

Getting off the chair after taking a quick lap on Sam's Knob to let a couple stragglers catch up we saw this thing:

we knew the day would be at least good...
    greguar:

    where is he!?

we found a nice pillow line:
    Oski from the top:

Oski taking it big off the bottom drop (10 foot drop he took around 30):

me trying to keep the enemies from finding my line

needless to say I was stoked at the amount of snow we were finding, regardless if we had to lap the same stashes because snowmass patrol refuses to actually open anything.

Nitro finding the last little drop:

Nonmag Riley showing us how it's done:

    getting the face shots

Sunday was maybe one of the top ten days of skiing I've ever had. We didn't stop much to take pictures, and when we did, my camera was a bit frozen, but we got some good shots, but I couldn't quite catch everyone.
Greguar wondering how the praxis would do on the first day out...

Regardless, he new it was going to be sick:

Now to your regularly scheduled mediocre shots of an epic day:
    Nitro:

I love the high speed continuous on the small point and shoot

    riley coming:

    riley going

    Greguar coming:

    there:

    and gone:

    Brandon:

    Apre:
Vickie not nowing which to choose... I think she chose both

    Gone in 30 seconds

Greguar might have a shot or two as well.... He's getting his rest for tomorrow (as it should be up there as well) now, and I'm jealous because I'll have to work at least most of the day.

    This is to be continued.

Again, sorry for the quality of some of the shots, it was hard to stop and try to set them up.

It was tough stopping in the middle of a run...

Wish the there was any light to get shots in Highlands Bowl. It was seriously rediculous.

Awesome TR. This "dry" season has turned a bit ridiculous in a good way. I'm looking forward to getting back over that way GR. Probably won't be until February though. Try and save some snow for me.
