As an Orioles fan I'd like to thank the Sox for beating the D-Rays and keeping us out of the cellar in the AL East. Yes, for those Yankees and Sox fans that is all I have keeping me going for this, yet another sad baseball season.

I grew up with Brooks, Frank, Boog, Ellie, Blade, etc. These are painful (but mainly boring) times.

On a happier note, my dad brought me an Aberdeen Ironbirds hat when he visited this summer. Very nice. Not quite my "go to" hat, but definitely in the rotation.

Anyways, just so you know: I'm not really judging you on the basis of your multi-team fandom. I just want to know if the Yankees or the Rockies are the best young team in baseball. Because about 3 pages ago, it was the Yankees. And now its the Rockies. So I'm confused. Please help a moronic grad. student going to a subpar school understand whats going on. heh, I was watching the Sox, and the Yankees, and House. Every time I flipped to the Yankees game they scored or struck someone out. Then the Sox won, and House was over, and the Yanks went to extra innings and I said, "Fuck this" and turned it off. Then the Rays won!

I think Prince Fielder will take the NL MVP, but a case could be made for Matt Holliday as well. The problem with Holliday is he plays half his games in Denver and everyone knows how much Coors Field inflates offensive stats. His OPS at home this year is 1.159 compared to .858 on the road.
