I thought you were talking about me for a second, but then became equally horrified when I realized what you meant. But now I feel OK because I know he must have been wrecked whenever the hat got on his head (wicked lit might be a better way to put it).

    tough loss for the bombers...
I knew once the jays got into the bottom of the yanks pen, trouble was brewing. It's the soft underbelly of the team.

THE YANKEES LOSE!!! THEEEEEE YANKEES LOSE!

    took 'em long enough.

    And The Red Sox win.

    took 'em long enough.

And even though he had a seven run lead, Gagne looked OK. Would be nice to see Okie have a good outing, now.

    man, how bout those phillies.....
Pat Burrell has actually been doing something this year.
Two summers ago, when I was working on a cruise ship
on Lake George in NY, he came on during the all-star break
with a trophy-chick. She looked made of plastic, seriously..
but anyways, it was fun to poke some fun at him for missing the all-star
    game....
Either way, I hope the mets can hold on.....

Wait a minute, one page ago you were claiming to be a huge Skanks fan, now you're cheering on the Mets? That ain't right.

When was the last time the Rockies played a game that counted 3 weeks into Sept?

Tied 1-1, bottom of the 9th in SD.

And I know I'm on drugs, but wouldn't it be nice if Philly and CO made it, and the Mets folded?

meh, I personally have no problem being a yankee-lifer, while also rooting for the mets in the national league... They have class, I like their players, a long time yankee staple is their manager.....while philly is a long time rival city to new york, ie i'm a huge giants fan and typically hate the eagles....

    Huh?

    skikola you're a:
    Yankee-lifer
Mets fan (when they're Yankee enough)
    Huge Giants fan
    Hate the Eagles
    and from Philly?

    Does not compute....

wow, you guys really want to analyze things, huh?
the yankees are my team, as i believe i've made clear.
i've also made clear that i'm a baseball fan above everything.
due to this, there are always different players and different teams
that i tend to root for in different situations.
it's called being a baseball fan.
in the nfl, the giants are my team, and the eagles are their rival....i'm not from philly......
    jesus christ....

Skikola, how does it feel to be a Yankees lifer when the Yankees have Hispanics on their team, and Hispanics most definitely stole your bike? Doesn't that make you squirm? And at one point, those Hispanics (they might even be Mexicans), were 7 years old, riding a bike around town, just minding their own business, enjoying life...

    yanks offense saves the pitching...
should be an interesting postseason, especially if they are at full strength.
i'm still a bit wary of the indians....

Big win or the Sox. Good to see them step up and take it over late in the game after another dissapointing showing by the pen.

As an Orioles fan I'd like to thank the Sox for beating the D-Rays and keeping us out of the cellar in the AL East. Yes, for those Yankees and Sox fans that is all I have keeping me going for this, yet another sad baseball season.

    Oh yeah free the birds.
