    Where does TGR stand?

Hear a lot of things. "TGR is the lions den"...or "TGR is tame to some of the forums I frequent..."

So what are some of the other forums you use that are rowdier than TGR?

If you haven't figured it out yet, flame wars are a great source of humor and entertainment.

Blurred, the forum you PM'd me about, aggrobuttsex.com, that shit is gnarly. I couldn't hang with their flamingness. Glad you are prolific enough to be a moderator, though. Keep up the hard work.

There you go again with the fag jokes. Why are you so homophobic?

All I know is that this place ruined my geek credentials. I got booted from digg cause I slipped into brett mode and made butt sex reference. Doesn't go over as well with that crowd.

I spend some time on the SomethingAwful forums. They are heavily moderated and none of the shit that occurs here happens there.

Of course, you also have to pay for an account there, so I reckon that helps.

All in all, I just don't let the flaming, name-calling, homophobic remarks get to me. It's just the internet, and I can hide from it.

I don't participate in forums that are rowdier than TGR, but I do participate in a forum where the men have a better command of the English language and therefore can craft a more cutting insult than the typical insult here. I'm guessing that the men at Ttips are just more intelligent than the rank and file here at TGR. Just sayin.

And yes, blurred, flame wars are a great source of humor and entertainment.

I'm glad it irritates you, rooster. What's good for the gander is good for the goose.

Why don't you show us those long legs of yours in Alaska.

Really. We want to see what a real Alaskan woman looks like.

    Respectfully, yours-

I sometimes post in a martial arts forum, it's a lot more moderated. Basically because flames would end in constant "get in the ring bitch" confronatations, more hassle than a Highway Star ski off. But the humour and pseudo flaming is a LOT more sarcastic, cheeky and amusing. And a lot less.......American?

Belt AND suspender? Why would a man wear both at the same time?

You've quite obviously never seen the rocky horror picture show.

I'm embarrassed to admit that you're right. But when it was in its heyday, I was studying my ass off trying not to flunk out of college and then went on to live in remote parts of Alaska. I just can't bring myself to watch it on DVD as I always wanted to see it at midnight in a theatre in costume and with all the props. I have few regrets in life, but this is one of them.

As any intelligent man should have pointed out, it's the only fail-safe way to wear pants.
