OK, I have a few Ideas for the sufferfest.
Do we want five fun hours, or seven where tensions might run high?
Do we want multiple laps on the Pass, (three different downhills, three similar uphills)
I vote for five fun hours, doing:
Warmup-Mahogony Creek-Relay Ridge-North Fork Canyon Creek-South Fork Canyon Creek-Elk Flats-South Fork Horshoe..(bailout point here for those who require it) then following up with the Horseshoe loops (we hopefully will have ridden them once earlier, so people know what to expect), with ChooChoo (new), Bovine, southbound, Sod-Buster, Cody's loop, probation, burgh, Sharks-belly, and Channel Lock finish.

This should be honestly 5-6 hours, with good godly gobs of climbing and descending pure singletrack. You will finish both hating and adoring the big holes, and this ride will haunt you. It would be the finest of what we have in terms of EPIC cc.

One or two people may cry.

One or two may sell all of their posessions to move here.

    It could be anyone, really.

    Sound good?

When the tensions run high is when the fun really gets going. I have been on epic 12 hour ski sufferfests, but only one or two bike sufferfests. But like I said, I like to suffer--and cry.

You can take photos of my suffering and crying. it will be rad.

Wedding? That is worse than flowtron's sales meeting excuse.

And serially, what does it take to get a goddam sticky?!!

Weekend of the 11th is the bluegrass festival, don't forget that little bonus! Sam Bush, David Grisman, Seldom Scene, Kane's River, etc etc. http://www.grandtarghee.com/summer/m...grass-fest.php
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

I think we are doing this for a whole week.
Maybe Tuesday-Friday for those who couldn't make it over the weekend?

So, freeride Jerseys and stickers, or beer mugs?

Ability level won't matter. I suck and I cry. We can suck and cry together.

Rideit, I like the idear of jerseys, but beer mugs facilitate the consumption of beer.

I'll see what I can find out...one of my riding bro's is the brewmaster at Snake River Brewing, I bet we could get a deal on glasses with their logo, along with something that we can design on the other side.

Any graphic designers on the forum?

Rontele, I get the feeling youre a masochist. I also have the feeling you dont suck. Shewt, I havent done an epic ride in... say 10 years? Back in corrrege we did a loop around Blue Marsh in Pennsyltucky--34 FUCKING miles of mostly jeep roads. BenWA loved it for some fucked up reason. I, on the other hand, have never done an epic ride since.

Do most of you guys know eachother? I dont wanna crash a bro's party.

Trust me, I really do suck. I have never met rideit, nor do I care to. I just want to use him for his property and his knowledge of the trails in the area.

You wouldn't be crashing the party at all. The mroe the merrier.

jerseys sound cool. Beer mugs are also cool, although I do most of my beer consumption out of cans.
