    Interesting.

Rachel will be eight months preggers, so I imagine we will need a few days solo inbetween. 3rd, 4th, 5th, CHECK.
    10th, 11th, 12th, CHECK.

    Sound good?
There isn't any reason to inconvenience you. If critical mass favors the second weekend, there is no reason for you and an eight month mrs. rideit to have to coordinate for us moth breathing heathens.

Agreed, except I plan to skip the breathing of moths, since they don't inhale too easily and tend to catch on the tracheal walls.

Did we decide on a weekend, rideit? I still vote for the first weekend in August despite the bluegrass festival being the following weekend.

I just got the 97% firm dates for the sales meeting in question, and they are two weeks earlier, so barring any grande races and hoping for spousal approval, I should be able to make a few days.
Have I said that I really, really want to ride the Pass shuttles?

Pass shuttles will be served hot, with moist towlettes.

I'm not the perfect guy for guiding, but I do know my way around the pass. I'll be passing through Jackson on that weekend on the way to MT (and doing a day at Big Sky) and could do some shuttle laps.

I am confused. what days are you going? I want to be at the pass shuttling summit, not the death XC ride summit.

Leo's need not apply. Seriously. Please don't come if you have a big mouth. We are sharing sacred ground with you. These are not the 'Little Holes.'

Rode Mt Manning to Mahogany yesterday. Yum-Yum.

Who was the geek in the blue spandex? Put some baggy shorts over that shit. Please.

I will be organizing an all-Aquarius DH ride on Sunday.

If you are not an Aquarius, but do flow like water downhill, you are welcome on our most pleasant ride of the hidden trail called 'Skullfucker'.

Thanks, and peace be with all you Aquarian souls. Keep your lips pursed upon completion of this glorious trail, thank you.

    Skullfucker is open again?
    That trail is an oddball.

I rode it once on my Giant VT! Bad choice!

alas, I will miss this event. Have a raft trip that weekend as well (Gates of Lodore) and I'm missing that too. Instead, gonna stay close to home and do the Keystone Bluegrass/Brew fest, ride in the morning, drink beer all afternoon.

    OK, WHO IS IN?

(Fuck, I did a ride tonight that I think everyone should do...but it is a grueling 1800 foot climb, followed by the ROWDIEST natural, fast, flowy, rooty, rocky, SICKNESS, and we could do it as a three hour loop FROM THE HOUSE. (Pole Canyon-Mike Harris)..
    Thoughts?
    Head count?

I'd love to commit but I won't be able to tell you either way until the last minute...probably a week or two in advance at best.

I also only have my big bike in Utah. I could ride it on a 3-hr 1800 ft. loop no problem. But a 6 hour sufferfest? No way. I be shuttling the pass while you guys do that.

Same here. I've been jonsin' to get down to the Winds or over to the Pioneers again, so if I can find someone to come out with me, I might make a big trip (ride and hike) out of it. But it would be a last-minute yea-or-nea.
