My plane leaves for Geneva in 2 hours and I usually bring snow to the Alps like Cortez bringing syphilus to the New World. So take heart!

Skied Breche Puiseux (yeah i know probably misspelt that) with bbirtle yesterday, down the Mont Mallet glacier. Lots of windblown first half, little pockets of spring snow, packed powder in the last couloir that brings one down to the leschaux glacier.

Today skied GM, waaaarm, most of the off piste=moguls, fun day in the sun.

    next week = $$$$
i love the sound of avy bombs in the morning

Paradiski (les Arcs/La Plagne) was fantastic yesterday. Good untracked silky corn off piste and still winter snow anything north facing above 1800m. Below 1800m, bring your rock skis.

Hopefully the storm predicted for next week will bring enough snow for a strong end of season.

A crack developed during our day of skiing,
and when I noticed it, I reported it.
Yesterday I was there again, and this is what I saw.
The result is from the av control team, thus it did not go by accident.
But, the av debris runs to the piste, so if it went by accident, it might have hurt/killed someone.

Hence why I've stated a few pages back to always report av activity to patrol.

g3000 was actually quite nice yesterday. bluebird and no crowds.
fun zoomer groomers on the glacier and some pockets of soft snow still in the combe.

the six day forecast continues to impress. it's loaded up with something everyday for the next six days. looks like AT will get hammered first, then the french alps will play catch up followed by italy. and the temps will stay COLD all week. it could actually be snowing in lausanne for most of the week.

so no bitchin' this next week!

Just back from London and what's that the forecast says? "snow for the euros!"

Who's up for some skiing? I'm free pretty much any day and the Twingo is all fueled up and ready to jet.

Snowing in Chamonix town at 6am, overnight snow line is low, and the guns are going off. Might be good.

Way off-topic, but has anyone been sued in Germany before?
None of my friends have, so I'm just looking for a bit of info on what to expect.
    Cheers.

Learnt about haftpflichtversicherung a little too late.
There was an incident involving bicycles, can't really put too much in writing, but there are medical and associated costs being sought.
Turns out one of my mates has had a run-in or two, so he'll give me some tips.

Heavy rain last night in Cham', turned to snow overnight. Stopped for a bit (in the town anyway), back up in the afternoon and a few cm on the ground.

From sf.com looks like Austria is the epicenter. cmx.com weather isn't predicting much accumulation here in the next few days...

Southern Austria is the epicenter as Subtle predicted correctly. Carinthia got a huge dump - total chaos:
